We have heard about it many times........... - Couples that are swingers - Yes, swingers are "open". Yes, we have experienced our first BAD time. Doesn't our profile say NO DRAMA !!!!!!!!!! I can't believe couples that talk sooo much about how open and fun they are but one partner gets soooo jealous and leaves in the middle of our play time???? Please don't let this happen again. Don't pretend you guys are something you are not!!!! Be open and honest with each other!!!! If we wanted drama we would try to play with vanillas!!!! The reason we are swingers is we are open and comfortble with one another .....If your NOT don't be swingers and lead people on........Or atleast try to play with us.Thanks! We DO appreciate the FUN, DRAMA FREE couples we have played with!

Professionals - - FL4FUN, I'm just stating the socio-political realities of OUR area. It's a bizarre place. My point is that nobody really cares what working class folks do around here. But 90% of folks do seem to care what you do in your spare time if you have some sort of prominence in the community professionally speaking. I don't make the rules. I just have to live by them. A lot of swingers are looking for people they actually share non-sexual interests with as well. I see nothing wrong with talking about hobbies, taste in recreational activities, etc. in a profile. It just puts more meat on the bones...helps you get a bit better idea of who a couple is. As club owners, we are keenly aware of the fact that there are a LOT of different types of folks coming at the lifestyle from a LOT of different angles and hoping to find a LOT of different things. And it's all OK so long as nobody is getting hurt. I just recalled one profile I saw from a couple out of New Port Richey, FL, I believe. They talk quite a bit about the fact that he is a professional fishing charter captain. I found their profile very interesting. It was pretty detailed, well constructed, and enticing. You see, we travel to that area about once/year on vacation and I love to fish. I figured he and I might have some things in common. Another couple talks about the fact that he is a sky-diving instructor and she is an avid sport shooter. My wife wants to jump out of an airplane BADLY and we love sport shooting. So we have set up a meeting with them as well. The more detailed a profile is, the more we appreciate them.

We Need Our Members Opinions!! - Please read and reply.... - We were referred by some friends. We were never swingers before. We always talked about fantasies but, didn't know how to bring them into reallity. Our first experience was at a party we were invited to from this site. We love the things we have expetienced and the friends we have met (some of whom we have not played with but, have developed great friendships with.) I agree that things are a little slower. But, my only question is how do you become a featured member? It seems like every time you log on, it's the same couples. We would like to be featured members. What do we need to do to earn our place on the main page? This is a great site and we are gtreatful to you for offering such a great medium for networking with like minded people at such a great price.

ksl - did you watch?? - I honestly don't think there should be too much concern that anyone is going to start 'searching' the internet to find out if they know anyone on sites like these. They are already 'disgusted' as it is and i'm sure they won't chance having a site like this 'appear' on their computer. I honestly think they made their opinions and judgements briefly as they watch the segment last night but it wasn't something that was powerful enough to cause much of a stir. After checking my access logs for the site as well as my placement ads on the search engines designed just for the state of Utah when someone does a search on the keyword 'swingers,' there was not even a substantial jump in numbers. There was actually less people who searched for that keyword as well as 'utah swingers' than any normal monday night or tuesday morning. I honestly believe most people have already forgotten about it. But for those of you who want to take that extra precaution, it's totally understandable. I just don't think it's that big of a deal to anyone like we thought and if it is, not enough to get them to start searching the internet for it. Rob

What is it to being a swinger couple - Is it always this way - From an outsider's perspective, this is one of the most obvious cons to me about being married swingers; you still have to deal w/ the annoyances of dating. Like Harry says in 'When Harry Met Sally', "I got married so I didn't have to date anymore!" You're happy to get laid, but it wasn't only about getting laid; it was about connecting to other people and for whatever reason they didn't want to maintain the connection. I think that's why there are so many small group outings posted about on here; those couples have found they're happiest when they develop a like-minded connection and hope sex will be another activity they partake w/ those to whom they're connected. Of course, I could be totally wrong and there will be no shortage of married swingers who tell me so along in a few minutes.

Creating an Amazing Swingers Profile - How to market yourself better - I think my advice above boils down to: 1) Be honest.. Don't try to mislead people about who or what you are. 2) Make an effort to give others a chance to get to know you and trust you. 3) Don't be gross. And this stuff is nothing more than my opinion.. While I would love a world where everyone is required to agree with me, that probably won't happen for at least 5 more years, if things continue to go well. ;)

Who in the relationship initiated the idea of joining the lifest - And why? - I lost my virginity to my hubby, and had no other partners Before we married. We were fortunately able to befriend an older (25's) couple in college who were swingers. When I started having all the usual "what am I missing" emotions, he suggested that we pursue the lifestyle. We were rather young for it... started at age 21... but it has become an integral part of our lives. Now we have been married over 17 years and have a better relationship and sex lives than ever.
