STD testing and physicians - who and where - The Utah Aids Foundation in Sugarhouse does walk in testing Mondays and Thursdays. They test for HIV (rapid results, you get them before you leave the clinic), and chlamydia and gonorrhea for free. The chlamydia/gonorrhea are just urine for the free tests, and since they are localized infections, paying for the self collect oral/anal tests are worth it as well ($25/each), as people frequently have those without realizing and while testing clean with their urine tests. My one complaint with there is that they take a while to get results (about a week) and I felt a little talked down to when they pull you into a room to talk about safe sex and using condoms; however, that is a small price to pay for the service you are getting. While, as swingers, those are the two big ones to worry about, it is worth also going to your family physician to get tested for a full panel every few months (I do every 6/8 months for the full panel), since they aren't as common but can still affect people. There ARE a LOT of swingers (of varying activity levels) in Utah...probably due to the repressive nature of the local religion as much as anything. We've been active in the swinging community for 30 years here and in a number of different states and can attest to the fact that, per capita, Utah has a comparatively large, active and vibrant swing scene. Divorce rates - How do we compare - Accurate stats on this would be tough to get because of who would answer honestly that they were swinging before getting divorced - but you could probably get close and our bet would be that its pretty close to 50/50?? Having said that, I guess we're going to skew the stats negatively towards the swingers since we plan on getting divorced as soon as all the kids are grown. Cypress Cove Nudist Resort & Spa - Information - Cypress Cove is very nice. It is the oldest nudist resort in Florida, but has had many improvements. There are two pools, a hot tub, resturants and a large lake that you can paddle boat in. The crowd is older than Paradise Lakes or Caliente so you will feel young. There are swingers around, but atmosphere is pretty quiet. The accomodations are very nice, close to the pools and the other activities. I am sure you will enjoy your stay.
