Is this one of your rules? What is it? is it fear? or something - Does everyone feel this way? - Don, I completely agree. I'm not suggesting "friends first" folks are wrong. I'm just explaining: 1. Why WE don't use that phrase...and folks often make offensive assumptions about us because we don't. 2. Why WE are always a bit uneasy about contacting couples who DO use that phrase. FYI, around where we live, we have this whole "lifestyle clique" who run around protesting WAY too much about how friends is all that matters and they aren't in it for the sex at all, and labeling anyone who disagrees with them as "bedpost notchers." Mostly though, the way you get in their crosshairs is by telling one of them "no thanks." So this is a bit of a sore subject for us...as we DID tell a few of them "no thanks" and we aren't about to lie and say we didn't become swingers for the sexual aspects. Duh! LOL

Swingers at work... - - Thanks STRAIGHTUPNOW, but honestly I thought I handled it VERY DISCRETLY, it was a simple small card nothing more, between himself and I. As for the rest I was half way across the country as I stated in the post. So I didn't feel I was in the wrong by approaching him. I feel that alot of people freak out when someone does find out about their little secret, and most don't know how to handle it when they are the ones approached instead of them doing the approaching. That last trip was about 5 years ago, and recently I have discovered we are returning to do business with them again. Instead of having our gathering in the meeting room this time...I've rented a very nice Suite, with two bathrooms, a jacuzzi tub, and a TV to enjoy. It won't be a LARGE crowd, but just enough for all to enjoy, meet and greet, and enjoy the indoor heated pool, until 10pm, so get here early, if you want to do any swimming, but you have to wear a swimsuit.....sorry folks. The suite will hold between 35/40 people, and it has a bed, only on one side, but if anyone wants to be an exhibitionist, we won't mind watching....;) If you plan on getting a room for your stay, the discounted rate is $50 plus taxes, but you must inform the front desk you're with Tammy Williams, and the Suite Gathering, on the first floor. The door donation for the party is $30 a couple, $60 select single males, and $20 for females. If your membership is still current though, you get $10 off your door donation, and from here on out, you're not required to become a member to attend, but if you want to still be able to attend the cabin get-a-ways we have, it's $60 a year to be on the list. Breaking the 4th wall - meeting a swinger in a vanilla situation. - Traveling to a party in Ogden, while gassing up at a truck stop, we ran into some casual friends of friends (Not Swingers) from our home town and it was a little odd trying to come up with a cover story on the spot, it was easier though because they were also flustered.
