KSL swing story - - The story was terribley produced. Little to no research. As I said in the thread leading up to KSL being at the Club 90 party, they decided what story they were going to write before they even put pen to paper, and they were not going to let the truth get in the way of their story. I particularily liked the way it played women to be victims in the Lifestyle, especially when everyone knows it is women that really run the show and have the biggest say-so in who a couple plays with. Also, in surveys of swingers when asked "Who's idea was it to start swinging?" 34% of the time it was the wife that first brought it up. Sure, men still accounted for 54% of the survey (the rest couldn't remember who's idea it was originally), but it's not the men wanting sex with other women and drawing their poor defenseless wife into the lurid underground world of wife swapping to do it. Hell, anyone who's been around it for a while knows it's more "husband swapping" anyway. :p I've been following the comments on KSL's website, and these people have no life. They wait to watch the news every night and then add their two cents to every subject. None of them have any idea what they are talking about. As Ozzie Guillen says about arm chair coaches and sportscasters "the farther you sit from the plate the smarter you think you are." LMAO But all the comments are along the same lines, the evil cheating husband luring his innocent, unsuspecting wife into the seedy underworld. Then you get the fake profile they put up and within "six days, 70 married men, most from Utah, ask to start a fling." LMAO Damn, how many couples get emails every day from "free member" married men looking to cheat? We get at least one a day. The same old story over and over: Married Mormon family man who says "I love my wife but she doesn't like sex". These people need to look within themselves. We're not the problem, they are. Plus, most of us won't play with cheaters and after a time we've become very adept at sniffing them out. My wife gets at least one married Mormon man a day sending her an IM on her personal Yahoo! Messenger ID, and they find her in the Yahoo! directory (not Yahoo! Personals, the directory). They just go through looking for women online to contact. They don't know she is a swinger. Her Yahoo! profile is innocent as can be. If they are going to cheat they will find a way, with or without swingers. Wow... I'd love to say this on KSL's site, but like fun4usxx said, it will just add fuel to the fire and you can't win. You can't fix stupid. Mr. Caress4u

Salt Lake City swing clubs - What club whould you recomend - We know a lot of members of this site are from Utah. What swingers clubs would you recomend in Salt Lake City or around? We prefer clubs where they don't let single men in. Also, are there any off premises swingers clubs? Thank you in advance.

Place to Hang out and Play - Have an Idea - It surely seams that the number of swingers in Utah is LARGE. I have heard some thing before like, (Utah has the most subscriptions to sexy magazines per capita) and that the numbers of swingers in Utah is in the top 5 on the list. So with all those people how is it Utah is still so controlling of what the people want? Here in Florida we have ON PREMISE clubs that are completely legal. Yes every now and then the news tries to gain a few points with the religious WRONG. For the most part if the club keeps it's nose clean everyone else stays out of it. We also have house parties and places called house parties that are 3 days a week every week. It's by invitation only and you BYO-drinks, a dish to pass and most donate to the cause. Keep in mind these are BY INVITATION ONLY... Meaning if you don't donate you may never be invited back. The owners DO live there and have regular bills sent to these homes. There are some that move around from hotel to hotel also. By invitation only... About a year ago a house party was busted out in the sticks. A few people were harassed by the local news jerks. Since then that TV station has lost a large number of people watching them due to their ON CAMERA BS... We are members of an ON PREMISE club in Port Richey, Fl. The police have been trying to find a reason to shut our doors a few times. 1st go around was people that lived in the vicinity. This brought on an investigation and the TV NEWS CREWS. They interviewed many of the homeowners and also the people in the stores below the club. Well the neighborhood wanted us out and the store owners wanted us to stay pointing out how clean and decent things have been since the BAR upstairs became a nice quiet swingers club. About 6 months or so ago the TV NEWS crews were at it again. This time the people in the neighborhood watch all around the club had said their crime rate had dropped like a rock. NO reports of anyone ever needing the police or an ambulance and no homeless people hanging around trying to sponge off people anymore either. Also no broken bottles in the parking lot. So now the locals are happy with us... Go figure...

MSNBC Article on Swingers - actually a positive one :) - Most interesting - thanks for sharing! D

Psychology Research - I need help with a research project. - My husband and I have been Swingers for almost 8 years now. I am an undergraduate psychology student and am currently working on a research project. This research project is to compare the relationship styles of both swingers and non-swingers. I would like to have a large amount of swingers participate in this survey. Please message me privately on here if you have any questions about this survey. Thank you in advance to everyone who takes this survey. https://saintleo.us2.qualtrics.com/SE/?SID=SV_bgxl3Dl7pex4N1j Rachel

Damn Utah couples! :) - - ALL4MYPLEASURE, Mormons didn't get you into the lifestyle, swingers did LOL! BTW, nice to see other Greeks in the lifestyle. After all, we Greeks are pioneers of debauchery. Granted, the scene is ok here. It lacks on-premise clubs and many of the other lifestyle related dances and such, but I won't complain too much. We prefer the scene in a state that is more liberal where you don't have self-righteous religious zealots trying to force feed the populous their dogma. Times are changing and the population of non-lds is growing and it's voice will be heard sooner or later. -D-

Meeting new swingers? - Where to meet them? - The net is by far the best way. The two main clubs near us are not good hunting ground and are pricey to join/attend. The next best clubs are in DC, but then you have 2 or more hours between anyone you might meet there. Place truthful ads about what you want and don't be afraid to respond to the ones already posted. Also Yahoo groups are a great place to meet people by interest.

Swingers dying out? - Is the utah swinger community dying or becoming to needy? - Hell don't know how to do the Quote massage LOL But yeah what LAPUA said

Same Sex Marriage - If you support - I support gay marriage. I support my sister's right to love whom she chooses, to give her heart and soul to the person she chooses. My sister just happens to love another woman. Why is her love any less than yours or mine? How does her being able to marry the person she loves hurt your marriage or take away from your relationship? Gays would take the same vows would they not? They'd make the same commitments? They'd love, cry, fight, makeup just the same? I'm tired of the sanctimonious, claims of how gay marriage will weaken straight marriage. Is your marriage that damn insecure that someone else being allowed to marry will cause issues for you? I'm tired of the what next argument. Folks will be marrying goats. BS! How about this one, swingers shouldn't be allowed to marry because of how they trash their vows to remain faithful? Not too cool? Stay out of the love lives of others and you'll get the same in return. You want your version of love and commitment respected, how about giving some of that respect in return?
