I am a moderate and although I don't like everything George W says or does, I dislike the way the Democratic party has handled their grievences even more.
They keep giving the enemy political and moral victories left and right every time they say some poorly worded crap about the war.
This is all just pay back for the witch hunt the Republicans gave Clinton.
I think both sides need to grow up and quit acting like children and come to a common ground.
While we are still above ground and not 6 feet under.

Is this one of your rules? What is it? is it fear? or something - Does everyone feel this way? - Don, I completely agree. I'm not suggesting "friends first" folks are wrong. I'm just explaining:
1. Why WE don't use that phrase...and folks often make offensive assumptions about us because we don't.
2. Why WE are always a bit uneasy about contacting couples who DO use that phrase.
FYI, around where we live, we have this whole "lifestyle clique" who run around protesting WAY too much about how friends is all that matters and they aren't in it for the sex at all, and labeling anyone who disagrees with them as "bedpost notchers." Mostly though, the way you get in their crosshairs is by telling one of them "no thanks." So this is a bit of a sore subject for us...as we DID tell a few of them "no thanks" and we aren't about to lie and say we didn't become swingers for the sexual aspects. Duh! LOL

Lake Powell Trip June 11-14 (Last Topic got deleted somehow) - - OK,, not sure where the Announcement went but lets do this again....
Every year, we put on a Lake Powell trip. In previous years, it has been a mixed crowd,, swingers and vanillas. This year we are going to change it up and add a trip in June that is Lifestylers only. Dates for this are June 11-14. We are still doing the August trip as well, but it will be a bit tamer than the June trip.
Houseboats will be availible for those that want to go. The cost last year for the houseboats worked out to be around $800 for the 4 days per couple. This included fuel. With decreased fuel prices this year, it should be a bit less. If we get enough people to warrant it, and if I can talk the pig supplier to provide pigs twice in one year (Yes, Buttabing, this is directed towards you) we will do a luau pig on Saturday night.
Last year, some people tent camped as well so staying on a houseboat is not a requirement. As a courtesy though to those that are renting the houseboats, if you do use the amenities of the houseboat such as bathrooms, showers, cooking and kitchen stuff, etc... you donate to whoever rented the boat.
Having a boat is not a requirement. Those that do have them don't seem to have a problem "adopting" those that don't.
A bunch of peeps from this site went last year and from what we hear, everyone had a good time.
I will need commitments from those that want to go no later than March 29th so I can ensure that I tie up enough houseboats for those that want them.

Because most women in the life-style are bi-sexual to varying degrees, and most men are not. Not even a little bit. Thus, MFF becomes the "third wheel" combination that most swinger couples can enjoy together. (Versus MMF, which is really more just about pleasing the female).

Yup. Tons more bi gals than bi guys. Probably 'cause, for just bunches of reasons, it's a lot more "acceptable" for a gal to like playing with gals than it is for guys to like playing with guys. And, as much as some of us see ourselves as rejecting society's "norms" and doing what we ourselves think is right, or acceptable, we still grew up in that society, had its standards pounded into us for years, and just can't truly get completely away from all of them. Vegas Recommendations? - Where do you recommend we go in Vegas - Swing club wise that is. - We have attended, and can recommend, the weekly Purrfect LV parties. They take place in a club in the Mandalay Bay. There is a private bar but you are free to mingle in the main part of the club where you can identify other swingers by their wristbands (necessary to enter the private space). There is also an after-party for the adventurous. The events are extremely well organized and attract a mix of locals and out-of-towners.
