DUNCANVILLE, TX - It's been a secret in the suburbs for years.
A house in Duncanville that holds large private parties for swingers is now gaining unwanted attention. Swingers are single people or couples who are open minded about their sexual partners.
"We have friends over for private parties," said the organizer, Jim Turlock.
The City of Duncanville wants to crack down on the parties. So far, the city has been powerless to stop the parties at the house on Cedar Ridge Drive. But Tuesday night, the city council will consider a different tactic.
People gather at the house every Friday and Saturday night. As many as 200 people showed up for a Halloween party. So many people attend the parties that the organizers have a man directing traffic and parking.
Organizers say the Cherry Pit is their own private club. Their Web site offers photos, giving a tour of where they meet.
The owner says the sex is consensual and optional. "They are people who are open-minded

You can join the playpalace in Fort Myers and you can go to the meet & greets at the club, but not allowed to the after parties without a single female or couple. They have a website, you can check it out, theres also theotheroz in Cape Coral (not sure what Tina's policy on single males is there these days) The local meet & greet group in Port Charlotte doesn't allow single males at all, sorry, hang in there!

Swingers clubs or parties - - Just wondered if there was any swingers clubs or parties in greenville S.C. or Atlanta Ga. that anyone could tell us about as newbies?
Is this one of your rules? What is it? is it fear? or something - Does everyone feel this way? - Don, I completely agree. I'm not suggesting "friends first" folks are wrong. I'm just explaining:
1. Why WE don't use that phrase...and folks often make offensive assumptions about us because we don't.
2. Why WE are always a bit uneasy about contacting couples who DO use that phrase.
FYI, around where we live, we have this whole "lifestyle clique" who run around protesting WAY too much about how friends is all that matters and they aren't in it for the sex at all, and labeling anyone who disagrees with them as "bedpost notchers." Mostly though, the way you get in their crosshairs is by telling one of them "no thanks." So this is a bit of a sore subject for us...as we DID tell a few of them "no thanks" and we aren't about to lie and say we didn't become swingers for the sexual aspects. Duh! LOL
