Anyone been to a Vegas Perfect Touch party? - - A few months ago we went to Vegas. We stayed at Rumors Hotel which is across the street from the HARD ROCK CAFE....this is where the meet n greet that we saw on the main page. Though we wanted to go by the time we did all the other things we were to tired to go. However, We saw tons and tons of people being dropped off both Friday and Saturday night. They were all going to a party in the same club as the meet n greet. Very sexy people if you asked me....tons of them. Not sure if they were all swinger or club promotions that you will find people passing out on the strip. Either way it was happening group of people. We did go swimming at Rehab in The Hard Rock and that in itself told us we were in the right place.....Tons of sexy people.....So would be worth a fun night on the dance floor. So next time we will go for sure and not plan so much at that time so we can go to the club too....So I would check it out and actually find the host....that way she can point you in the right direction and I am sure there will be tons of swingers as well. A paradigm shift - polyamory - Your thoughts? Here are mine... - This is a big big topic... good one.
It is true to say that an amazing thing about being human (thank any God figure you'de like :)) is that we have an INFINITE capacity to love. It is most obvious in women but exists in us all.
I understand all of the comments about walking a path together, finding the one and only, etc and that is a great way to live but the fact is, we can love more than we do. We can choose to want to be with a certain person more than any other but we can love many. The easiest way to show this is that when a child is born they make the parents feel as if they could never love like they do this first beautiful child but when others come along what we experience is an expansion of our capacity to love. It is limitless. As mothers and parents can love many children so can we all love many others. We dont need to, some dont want to, but some feel it is a natural and Godly way to live. The biggest obstacle to it is jealousy or feelings of ownership which Swingers have largely learned are "lower thinking" attributes and, at least as far as the physical goes, they are beyond jealousy etc (of course I mean the healthy ones).
Big Love is a real deal. It scares many people, even swingers but it is the next and logical progression in the more enlightened thinkers out there, which many swingers are. We swingers have at least tackled the threat that comes from "physical" sharing but many are scared to death to hear their loving sharing spouse express feelings of love for another man or woman.
A great book on this topic is "The Future of Love" by Daphne Rose Kingma. It's excellent.
Im sure this idea (polyamory) is not for everybody but it is natural and can be as rewarding and freeing as swinging is I'm told...(Jealousy, guilt and ownership are unnatural 'learned' behaviors).

Another perplexing experience - - In reply to wetfem there is nothing wrong with you as a cpl. We have had simular situations everything from "oh no your a yankee" to "your too old" of course they never said this to our face we just could tell from the way those nights went the bottom line is ,you cannot possibly be compatible with everyone you meet and chatting, talking on phone, and e-mails/messages gives you just a slight insight into who you are planning on meeting thats why for us for the most part at least folks local to us we do not spend alot of time chatting etc...
we setup a face to face meeting very quickly and see where it leads most 1st meetings are strictly social and then we tell whomever we are meeting with lets make it" more private "next time that normally will lead to a positive response or a polite "we don't feel we are compatible".
We have learned to laugh about the ones who choose not to bring it to a sexual level and consider it thier loss not ours . Being in the mid aged range we know that we are more uncompatible with the majority of the swingers who frequent sights like this my wife no where looks 47 People continue to guessed her age in her mid 20's (she drives those fair ages guessers crazy she has won every time lol) and when cpls/singles meet us face to face and we tell them our kids are 28 and 26 you can see the look on thier faces that is very obvious "They did not read our profile very well".
With all that said, we approach all face to face meetings with no "sexpectations" if it happens great if it doesn't we say nice to meet you and then say "NEXT"
