Swingers In Uniform - Pay your memorial day respects here. - Hello All, I would like to put down some of my (KinkyJoker) thoughts on this thread and some of the posts here. I fully agree with the post & poem from SNS2N1. Memorial day is not my day, it is the day that I thank my Brothers & Sisters that have given their all. I would also like to point out that while most believe that a Military member is willing to give their life for thier family, the fact is that they are willing to give that life for their comrads. I have yet to ever hear of a Soldier, Sailor, Airman, or Marine that was thinking of home when they jumped on a Granade/pushed their buddy out of the line of fire/rushed a bunker full of automatic weapons/willing ran in to a hail of bullets to grab a wounded buddy, they were all thinking of saving the life or lives of their buddies. For them, I feel both the swelling and crushing of my heart at the rememberance of their deeds. Also, as stated by SNS2N1, the day for me as a Vet is Nov. 11th. I feel extra blessed because my birthday is the day before, Nov. 10th. Now while this is not the day I was physically brought into this world, it is the day of my birth into something that I will be until I leave this mortal plane. A Marine. However, to be fair, I am a Former Marine, and much to the shame of my best friends, I am now currently in the US Army Reserve. I fully thank the powers that be, that both of my best friends made it through Operation Iraqi Freedom unharmed, as well as the entire roster of my old unit. Now, on to Don Juan. Yes, I am willing to defend his right to show just how big of a self-centered, puesdo-intellectual, narrow minded little piss-ant that he is. Because of what he said I will not say that he must be a member of the Demorcrats (Sorry, Extreamly Liberal Republican here), nor will I make guesses at his orignal place of birth. However, I think that it is much further away then Great Britain, as in not from this planet. While I agree with the Chief, Sgt & Spc Cole, and RED64ANDME on what we should do with him, I have to point out that in order to truly fulfill our oaths, we need the politicians to state that he is a domestic enemy. That way when we stomp a Mudhole in his ass, we are not violating his rights. Now if you really want to do something to him, just pray that karma will come to him or that life will change to where stupidity really is painful, if not deadly. LDS Survey Results - - Wow.... just wow. I would have hoped that since we have all made the decision to swing and embrace the lifestyle, that people would be accepting of one another. Does it really matter if someone is Mormon? Is it truly necessary to bash someone's religion to that extent? There should be no place or tolerance for that here. My husband and I are active LDS, and I am not ashamed to say so. We both attended BYU and we have no guilt. We took a marriage prep class in college and the teacher told us that whatever happens in the bedroom stays in the bedroom. As long as both parteners are comfortable with what is going on and nobody is being degraded, it's all good. We view extra partners as a sex toy... nothing more. We keep our lines of communication open, we only play when our marriage is strong and we are not having any disagreements. It has actually saved our marriage and we are doing better than we ever have before. We both hold prominent callings in our ward. I thought this survey was very interesting... we haven't had much opportunity to meet other LDS swingers in so.cal (though we hear they do exist), so seeing the experiences and beliefs of others elsewhere is very nice.
