Swingers at work... - - Red64 I think you handled things very poorly. You should never out someone at work or anywhere else. Do you want YOUR privacy compromised? We had a guy send us an email bragging about how he had seen us on another site and he wonders why we won't talk to him.
Respect other peoples complete privacy at all times. If you work with them I don't think its even a good idea to send them an email on the site. Let it go. The old saying "don't get your honey where you make your money" can apply here. We put her pics on Watchersweb one time a while ago. Some moron sent us an email on the swingers site he saw us at bragging about he had seen her pics there. Even this is too far for us. If you know us fine, just keep your mouth shut, ok? Finding Connections - Do the majority of swingers wait to be approached? - For context, I'm the male of the couple and have been on a single male profile for most of my time on this site. I don't think I've ever actually met anyone for the first time from this website. I send out the occasional email, and I get approached every once in a while, but nothing ever happens. For me, this was a place to stay connected with the people that I met in person, at parties and events and things like that. It has been a much more effective tool for that than for meeting people.
But like I said, I was a single male profile for a very long time. Now that we're on an account together, we might have more luck meeting other couples on here. We'll have to wait and see.
As for being approached... it varies. If it's someone I'm not interested in, I do usually try to reply and let them know that it's not going to work for whatever reason. I don't do that as often for single males, because I've had some bad experiences with them harassing me afterwards, but for couples I personally try to reply. Not everybody does, and I imagine that for some people who get lots of requests it would become time-consuming to reply to everyone.

Odd pattern. - Why the interest/disinterest? - I'm not surprised to see mentions of homophobia and haste in filling out the profile as possible reasons; I hadn't thought of the male ego being so driven as to ignore disinterest from gay women. Yet that ego can't be reasoned w/ when the interested person's equipment matches the imagined ideal but the original birth certificate does not, even when reproduction is not on the table.
As Terry pointed out above, every blastocyst starts out female and slightly less than half mutate into males as they become fetuses.
AHARLEYCPL, not only is hate mail unwarranted, I'm personally pleased this discussion, for all its potential thorns, hasn't disintegrated into discriminatory ugliness like it would on some sites where the membership is more mainstream; I think it's b/c swingers already think outside the societal norms when it comes to expressing sexuality and have more of a 'live and let live if no one gets hurt' mentality. Being a swinger isn't about thoughtless sex, it's about even more thoughtful sex and this discussion shows that. :)

That is why I think single males need to be broken down into two groups. Those that are polite swingers and those that are just fuckers.

Swing Fit Travels - Travel plans for those wanting to work out - OK, I'm sure I already know the interest level here based on prior posts I've made but what the hell.
Is anyone interested in a Swing Fit Travel arrangements? This would be an exercise vacation for Swingers. The involvement level vary from those able to do cardio for 10 hours to those looking to learn and burn (learn to workout and burn calories.)
One thing would be paramount: all attendees would be bonafide Swingers. No BS about that.
Anyone up for that? I'm thinking of a resort takeover someplace in the US so it is near and easy to get to. Going to Mexico or the Caribbean would be nice but costly. We could even go to Vegas.

Age - New to the swingers community - is age a factor in how a couple is viewed? - I have been swinging since the days it was called wife swapping. I am not interested in those under mid 30's and perfer to stay under age 55 as my preference. I like to be able to converse with those I play with 1 on 1, and the younger crowd leaves me with little to talk about. Also having a son in that age range makes it awkward for me. At parties I am not paying attention to an age range though, I pay attention to what sexy nymph catches my eye....
