Who is going to Younge swingers week HEDO? - anyone going? - This sounds like a blast. We were thinking about attending Risque Soiree's Hedonism event, but this also sounds like it would be a ton of fun!
Other activities? - Do you only meet swingers for sex? - No it is not just for sex although that is a really fun part of it. Some of the things we have done with couples that we swing with inlude, going out to dinner, go to a movie together, go to a play, go to a concert, go shoot some pool toether, go bowling, invite them up to our cabin for the weekend (yes we have had couples come spend an entire weekend at the cabin and not play even though we had before and since). We like to go hiking together, fix a fun dinner in at our place in town or at the cabin and enjoy. Your mistake was that you assumed that everyone was at the same level as you. That's not a stab, but an observation. One of the first mistakes we all make is assuming that because we are all "swingers", we are all seasoned veterans of the lifestyle and have ironed out all the wrinkles in our relationships as swingers.
It is unrealistic to expect everyone to be on the same page, all the time. I agree with you in that we should all strive to be open and communicate everything we can, to our significant other and the other couple, so that everyone knows where everyone stands with regard to swinger interaction. Does this always happen? No. My advice is don't be discouraged. All you can do is try again or move on.
Everyone is guilty of "DRAMA", including you and me, for that matter. More often than not, those that say "Drama Free" are those that are the biggest perpetrators and perpetuators of it. Just my opinion of course. Better luck next time.

Are swingers moral? - Who determines what morals are? - Neuroscience makes morality out to be largely born in and more complicated than just "stuff god doesn't like". For example, what one may see as an immoral act may in fact be quite honorable to someone in that person's in group. A gang banger seems immoral when he kills a rival gang member but a soldier is doing the same thing except that we call the gangs nations. What religion manages to do is take false credit for morality so that it can attach additional memes on so we get motivated to do those too. This amounts to "lying is bad so sex must be bad too". The problem with buying into that logic is that not everything churches say are bad actually are and can even override true morality. For instance, a religious hatred of homosexuals. This doesn't always happen and there are many influencing factors (again morality is quite complicated according to neuroscience) but it is often a potent driving factor. The short answer is that the more people you include in your in group the more people you will act morally toward.

A Place In The Lifestyle - - We have a local swingers club in Tampa that is advertised as a swinger clubs
and most seem to be in the swing lifestyle that is there and, we always have a
good time while there... but here is what we see as a little problem. The bar
part of the club is also open to non swingers(vanilla).And as we look around the
room we notice more & more couples coming knowing it is a lifstyle club and
loves the sexy atmosphere and loves to party but not to swap. We have talked
to a few couples who told us they like the swinger club environment and how
everyone is so open with their sexuality and love to play with each other, but
they are not into swapping with other people.
We know some will say couples likes this are not swingers and do not have a
place in the swinger lifestyle. When you go to a swinger club, you expect people
are there to meet and hook up with other swingers.
Would you still call them swingers?
