Not that it means much of anything, but this is why I always took exception (with few very dedicated and very successful and very happy exceptions) to people calling this a "lifestyle". Don't worry. Not gonna slam ya. Just curious what state(s) you're talking about. We've lived and 'swung' :-) in a number of different states. Additionally we're on another, older swing site that is FAR larger than this one and people on that site often complain about how closed, cliquish and inhospitable swinging is in their particular area (most notably Minnesota where the site originated and especially in California where there is ostensibly a much larger population of swingers than in most areas). Personally we've found the swinging community here to be much more open than many areas we've visited. Of course openness is relative when it comes to an activity that most people tend to hide, like swinging.

First off, GREAT QUESTION!! It's kinda like those "What If..." comic book tittles you see now and again about your favorite super hero if they didn't turn out the way they did kinda thing. In this case it's about swinging and what if (insert relative or friend here) found out we were swingers?
We live in duel worlds--church and mainstream--where if folks who know of our faith found out about us would certainly shun us out or pray us to Jesus. Our relatives would freak I can imagine because we are "certainly out of line" for getting involved in this lifestyle.
Funny, I bet secretly many of them wished they could be this open about sexuality and free to let their hair down and be able to talk and participate with other adults in this way.
