Who started it? - Who/How/How long? - Before we were in the lifestyle, we went to Hedonism. Nothing happened, but it started an itch that I knew I had to scratch one day if I could convince my wife. Years later at a vanilla party with friends and being drunk, I inadvertently mentioned we went to Hedonism. Our best friends picked up on that and asked if we were swingers. To our astonishment, they told us that they were in the lifestyle and encouraged us to consider it. A few months later, the wife and I went to Sea Mountain in Palm Springs and I told her that I wanted to watch her have sex with another guy. Later that day, she introduced me to a guy and stated that he would be the guy she would have sex with. So, it happened and I loved it. I told my friend who then helped me set up a profile on a swingers website and shortly afterwards, we met another couple from it for our first couples experience. The rest is history. BTW, that initial profile has undergone 1000 revisions as our strict rules were eventually eliminated. Haha!
OK LETS BE HONEST - - We got into the lifestyle because my wife was bi but didn't want to admit it to herself. Raised Catholic and it would be a mortal sin?????? All she had to do was see a woman naked and she got totally wet... I was aware of this for years but she insisted not.. We started going to a club to the socials and she loosened up slowly. In the 9 or so years that we've been in the lifestyle I learned that while many times men get their wives into the lifestyle it is the wives that keep them in the lifestyle. Further, women completely control the lifestyle. It's kind of like the old expression; "If a man says he's boss at home, I wonder what else he lies about". The lifestyle is much like that. From discussions with other swingers I find that just a many wives get their husbands involved in the lifestyle as mwn do. I don't know about other places like UT or CO or TX but in NC, SC, VA, and many in FL the women rule the lifestyle and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Other activities? - Do you only meet swingers for sex? - No it is not just for sex although that is a really fun part of it. Some of the things we have done with couples that we swing with inlude, going out to dinner, go to a movie together, go to a play, go to a concert, go shoot some pool toether, go bowling, invite them up to our cabin for the weekend (yes we have had couples come spend an entire weekend at the cabin and not play even though we had before and since). We like to go hiking together, fix a fun dinner in at our place in town or at the cabin and enjoy. Other things have included some plane old fashioned helping out stuff like working equipment or building something.

Many LS venues, great nightlife, live music almost nightly at the Casbah and the San Diego Music Box, always a festival close by and Tijuana's gentlemen's clubs are world class. Hong Kong went from being a shady brothel decades ago to a hot nightclub / strip joint hybrid that welcomes everyone and popular with young Americans of both genders, we seen many young couples enjoying themselves with a pretty girl. Safe, clean, fair, cheapppp and fun as heck. Half of the girls who work there are Americans. You can just watch, get something to eat/drink or just be a part of the action. Tijuana also has world class restaurants such as Caesar's, all reasonably priced. We also have San Onofre naturist beach. There is Thad's, a swingers club still operating, plagued by single males but they are easily outnumbered and set asideon Saturday nights by the ton of couples who come in. Also a hot couples only play area always busy on Saturday nights. Private rooms too. Some other LS venues advertise on KAS. Never boring, always sexy down here!
