Swinging and LDS... - Are the two compatible? I know this is a huge can of worms... - We were talking to someone we thought was a "vanilla" friend last night. She has told us in the past how she is a total LDS member and "very religious", yet we just found out that she is and has been in the lifestyle for quite a while. We are a bit perplexed. While we are not LDS, we assume the church would frown on the lifestyle. Is this not the case? Or are LDS'rs living a "double life"? We all do to a certain extent, we don't advertise that we are swingers. But, to you who are active LDS members, how hard is to maintain while attending church? To those who are not and have dated LDS members, is it difficult to have poly relationships with members? What are some of the obstacles? We do like her very much.

Meeting new swingers? - Where to meet them? - We used to live in a postage stamp size town in central fl and it was amazing the number of swingers that actually lived in that town as well as the next one over. Like it was mentioned above the net is the best thing for this lifestyle its amazing the ppl in the lifestyle you would never have thought about. Our sons gf's parents are in the lifestyle and we didn't know it until they approached us over the net,when we got the pics of them I almost stroked out. Why are people not answering? - - I agree totally. The most aggravating are those who send an email expressing interest, you reply courteously and never hear from them again. Might as well reply to their email with " Take a long walk on a short pier", or "Kiss my ass" for all the good it does. And those who do it know who they are...even more disgusting are those who do answer emails, schedule a meet and then disappear, never to be seen or heard from again....or they do schedule a meeting and never show up....(how many cups of coffee is a realistic amount of time to wait? ) then you realize you have been "had again". Where are the Midwest Swingers? - - Seriously. I'm a recent college grad, and my guy is still in school, so we can't go traipsing off around the country to meet people. Where are the swingers from Ohio, Indiana, western PA, south Michigan, etc?
No offense to the people on our friends list, but I'm tired of getting all excited to see that we have a new message only to find it's a friend request from someone in freaking Utah. I mean, seriously. Literally everyone I know who graduated from college in 2009 is working a dead end job somewhere. None of us has a career, so even if we were willing to spend the money to travel cross-country for casual sex, we don't have it to spend.

Are we really as judgmental as vanilla people? - - Swingers are very judgemental, maybe more so than the general population. It's not just over weight people that are judged by people in the lifestyle. Single men are discriminated against daily...just because they are male. We seem to be good at grouping like people together be it sex, weight, race. People in the lifestyle sure don't hold back when it comes to discrimination.
