Yes, a nieve person will think that a swingers club is not a sexually oriented business, but city leaders and members of the public will make a big push to ensure a swingers club fits within the ordinance definitions. The licensing process is very public and anyone involved in the licensing will have a lot of exposure. Licensing applications often require background checks, names, business site visits and walkthroughs, and ongoing mandatory surveys after the business opens. Publicity and continued legal battles with the state and city scare couples away. Research Plato’s a Short-lived swingers club in NYC that was briefly open. During its existence it was continually challenged, closed, reopened, raided, and ultimately put out of business. Swingers dying out? - Is the utah swinger community dying or becoming to needy? - I'm guessing whether you think things are dying out, is a matter of peperspective. If you have a certain kind of couple you are looking for and want to meet someone new every weekend, I'm guessing the well will run dry quickly. We have very little time, so even meeting a few people here and there can be tough to schedule. I see events, parties and booty calls listed all the time...add in the messages, friend requests (which are usually useless), and new people joining (whom you can choose to say hi to or not), and honestly, I'm not sure how anyone has time for it all to the point of saying the swing scene is dying. Moving - - I am seriously thinking I should move to Utah. Without going into a long discriptive reason why. And if you have read some of my posts you'ld know why. Untop of the fact that Ytah seems to be full of swingers that are healthy. I can't seem to find work in my home area of PA. You would think that a 30 year old cook,with ServeSafe and Department of Agriculture, Bureau of Food Safety and Laboritory Services certifications. Would be able to find a job real easy. And I have seen people get promoted to resaurant management for a lot less. In fact I worked at a Chi-Chi's a couple years back. And was asked to train for management by the district and regional managers. While I was training one of the pot head cooks got his waitress girl friend pregnant. They promoted him as soon as they found out. Maybe, I'm not getting the jobs I want because I'm open about swinging. Add to that I am 30 years old and single. Maybe I'm single cause I'm open about swinging. Eitherway I am in a bad situation and it needs to change. Pretty soon the bank is going to reposess my truck. And that will leave me screwed.
