Question about Friend Requests? - - First -- Bracelets! We so need one! Second -- I believe if you have no face pics, you either think it would be embarrassing for you to have someone see you on here but BLUEEYESINUTAH put it best, why are you worried, they are swingers too, or you feel that your life may be to public for a picture, then if that is so you must have met some bad people who would use that to their advantage and for that I am sorry. The corner stone of the swinger lifestyle is discretion, if I ran into you in public I may say hi or just keep walking. I have made some great friends here and even had a few of them come to my non-lifestyle events. I have ran across people I know from work/school/family friends here and I just pass up their profile, really we are all adults and I know I won't even email you without a face pic, or if you email me I usually won't respond. To each their own, but put on your big girl panties, we are all adults.

Altho I find it ironic you call it being shallow for not giving those with face pics accessible a chance in the same breath that you boast that you are "high profile". Really? I mean, I can understand using discretion and not yelling "yo, great party! Your pussy rocked last night!" in the middle of the grocery store should we happen to run into you, but lets not overthink it. I don't care if you are a janitor, the govenor, or a celebrity...you still fuck and you still take your clothes off the same way I do. Trust me...nobody is gonna string you up or put you on trial for being a swinger. We may blush as we walk past you and smile warmly at the nice memory, but the neon swinger sign over your head is in only in your imagination. Personally I would love one. Hot pink preferably. Oh wait. That's why we have the bracelets.
A&E New show about swingers... - neighbors with benefits.... - Didn't know they were even making a show. When does it aire?

Search abilities for international swingers. - Just a suggestion. - We've just added a huge database full of country codes and information. Members can now add their country and it will show them the exact distance from any where in the world. Look for changes to the search page to allow you to search by country and other options.

Swinger Study Survey - - Certain folks are NOT understanding what I'm saying about the survey - and they're NOT reading the initial qualifying instructions. It clearly states: "For the purpose of this study, swingers are individuals that are married or in a committed, steady relationship where either one, or both partners, engages in consensual sexual activities with other individuals with the approval of the other spouse or partner". Yes, LRMKRVO, I did read it - and I fully DO understand it. Since you seem to think your reading comprehension skills are vastly superior to mine, please point out to me where the above ALLOWS participation by someone who is not MARRIED, and not IN A COMMITTED, STEADY RELATIONSHIP, who engages in consensual sexual activities with other individuals WITH THE APPROVAL OF THE OTHER SPOUSE OR PARTNER. Sure, I could very easily have taken the survey and pretended I was the male side of just such a relationship, as is described in the criteria for taking the survey. But I'm NOT. And THAT is quite simply what I'm trying to point out to everyone. IF you read the instructions, it's CLEAR that only those in a committed relationship are welcome to participate - thus eliminating non-committed SINGLES of either sex from participation. WHY IS IT SO HARD FOR EVERYONE TO COMPREHEND THAT? And as for question # whatever, I have NO clue what any of the questions are because I did NOT take the survey. I wasn't invited to take it - I am expressly eliminated from eligibility to take it. If you walk up to a door, and a sign on the door says DO NOT OPEN THIS DOOR, how would you know what's inside? The instructions clearly state that I - as a single - am not welcome to open the door, so how am I to know what the questions inside are? FORGET THE SURVEY AND READ THE INSTRUCTIONS ON THE CRITERIA FOR PARTICIPATION. That's all I ask.

Single guys and emails... - Answering all emails - except from single men who don't seem to read our profile - OK here's another post from another "Narwhal" (single male vs. "unicorn" single female) Valance I think you coined the moniker in another post and hope it sticks because it's comparative nature of desirability even with a 10 ft. pole. I really don't understand couples attempt for the exclussion of single males as not being"swingers" without also excluding the single females as swingers with statments like "stay out of the clubs, your not swingers"or" get a woman first" This is a lifestyle not an exclusive club and there are all types and interests. I admit there are many rude crude and impolite males out there but there are also the same in the couples and single women catagories too. What are my odds of finding a woman into and interested in similar sexual activities in a regular bar or dating site? I'm here mainly for the social aspect(and yes maybe sex!). My reasoning being if one can be open and honest about sex they can and usually are more honest about all other things and this has been a general experience with most of the people I have met. Yes there's sometimes drama .(90% of the time it's either insecurity or honesty related and you'll see me headed the other way..lol) but for the most part I have found all of you folks to be great to be around. I don't ever expect any replies to any email contcts I initiate or receive any initial contact, the good old days of letters of introduction and subsequent curtious replies are regretfuly long gone. The internet just makes it easier to ignore or not acknowledge someone. Wouldn't it be nice if everyone replied without fearing nasty rebukes for rejection issues? The single males are just looking for their needs and desires to be fulfilled just like all of you and don't deserve to be bashed for being single. Being rude, vulgar, overly aggressive or impolite is a different matter. All in all I say have fun and play nice no mater what your preferences are.

Some Food For Thought - - I would venture to say not many folks in the Lifestyle have ever given a whole lot of conscious thought to the following topics, but it may be interesting to see what everyone has to say on them. In answering the questions, please don't let your own personal likes/dislikes be your sole reason for answering the way you do. Rather, look at it objectively as you feel it applies to others in general. In all cases, we're talking about adults only. #1. If 2 women play with and enjoy pleasuring each other in a group, couples or strictly 1 on 1 situation, does that NECESSARILY make them bi-sexual? #2. What about the same question as it pertains to men? #3. Where EXACTLY does bi-curious end and bi-sexual begin? #4. What EXACTLY is considered "kinky"? #5. Where and when EXACTLY does "kinky" become "perverted"? For example: Would Golden Showers (by mutual consent) be considered "kinky" or "perverted"? If something "just happens" during play, is it either? #6. Is playing alone, even with the knowledge and consent of your spouse, considered cheating? What about if you play with someone you and your spouse have played with together, only this time you're doing it without your spouse knowing you're doing it? Cheating? #7. If you or your spouse were to play with someone who is NOT in the Lifestyle, would you consider THAT cheating? #8. How many of us in the Lifestyle do you think have let our families know that we are Swingers? #9. How real is your fear of contracting an STD if you participate ONLY with others within the Lifestyle? #10. Do you feel there is a real possibility of us all going to hell for what we do?

TALKING TO YOUR KIDS ABOUT THE LIFESTYLE? - - OK, here's something just a bit off the subject - or is it? Let's say you had your kids when you were pretty young, which means you and your spouse are both STILL relatively young. You've been swinging since the kids were mere toddlers - and you're still active swingers. But, as far as you know, the kids have never known about your alternative Lifestyle. Now that the kids are grown and out on their own, one night, you're at a swingers club, a house party or a meet-and-greet - and one of your kids show up with their spouse/signigicant other/date - and they're already friends with several of the people there. What happens from here?

Las Vegas - Fun -
What's the best way people have found to hook up with other couples while visiting Vegas? Just posts on websites, or is there something better there? We will be there 9/23 - 9/25, if anyone else from this site is in town let us know
If you use Kasidie, post a Rendezvous. Swinglifestyle (sls) also allows you to post a Hot Date listing. We are also included on a couple of Vegas swingers kik groups.

What do you do with Friend Requests? - - We recently added the following to our profile... We seem to be getting loads of blind friend requests without so much as a 'Hi, like your profile...". If you are legitimately interested in meeting us/getting to know us we would hope you would drop us a quick note with your request or we'll probably assume you are just looking to 'perv' our private pictures and say thanks but no thanks. This is ESPECIALLY true is you are not even in the same time zone. In which case you probably ought to offer some explanation as to why we ought to be friends... ;) AND YET, not a day goes by that we don't get two or three blind friend requests with no other note or introduction... don't people read profiles?? If someone can't be bothered to read our profile can we really believe that you are legitimately interested in knowing us? The only other assumption is that you are collecting private pics, collecting 'friends', perv'ing the swingers... NO to the friend request, NO to seeing more of us naked.

Are swingers moral? - Who determines what morals are? - I was raised to believe that morality and the law are the same thing. People, in LDS society anyway, seem to profess that being moral is obeying the law and that is what they teach their children in church. I have always assumed that other religions do the same thing. But what seems to be said here is that swingers feel that the law has little or nothing to do with morality and that we are perfectly willing to break the law for our own pleasure. Is that what we are saying here.
