a : a person who is lively, exciting, and up-to-date
b : one who engages freely in sex
There are those who would use the term in a variety of different ways. Some would vehemently deny that single people could be swingers and fall back on a previously used term of "wife swapping". Bottom line, a swinger, to you, is whatever YOU decide one is and if you consider yourself a swinger then you're a swinger. Someone else's definition is meaningless. JMHO

We worry about our kids etc finding it, that's why we haven't joined the Facebook group. We'd like to hear what's going on but really don't trust Facebook for this type of communication.
Players Club - Use it or lose it! - We certainly do not expect every lifestyle couple in Utah to make it a Saturday night ritual to make it to the Players Club, but since almost all agree that they would like a place to go and meet and have fun on weekends where there is not a special party, we feel that those that can try to make it out. We are cetainly not expecting anybody to put other obligations aside ( I know that we certainly don\'t) but then again if we have the time and a couple of bucks we love to see our friends and meet new ones. We might not be able to make it every Saturday but the ones we can, we can\'t think of anything better.
When we were having couples night on friday they were still getting good crowds and now that the club has agreed to do it on Saturdays it should even be better.
And lets not forget that it is not just a club for swingers or lifestyle people. It is meant for all couples or single females and that is part of what makes it so much fun.

Heidi Hatch was the reporter and apparently she started a profile and was communicating with couples here on Singular (yes, they identified Swingular by name and showed numerous screen shots and even some profile names) who wanted to make sure swinging wasn't portrayed in a purely negative manner. As a woman participating in this lifestyle, I figured I would add my .02. I was the one who brought it up not him. We started talking about it and decided it was something we wanted to try, it was not a decision made over night - we talked about it for quite awhile. This is not something you hear about that often (depending on where you grow up. People keep quiet about it because of people like you, who sit here and have the nerve to condemn us for a choice we make as adults and as husband and wife. We are not hurting anyone, we don't involve our families or kids. We are not trying to recruit anyone into what we are doing, if someone joins because they know we do it it's their choice as ADULTS. Every person who sits here and says its "nasty", "perverted", or "that the people who do this are more apt to be predators" have no idea what you are talking about. How dare you condemn someone for a choice they make as ADULTS. Last time I checked we still lived in America not Iraq and had the freedom of choice. You people are just like all the other people in other centuries who condemn someone for something you don't understand. You go to a church who's founder was teaching plural marraiges at one point, look what happened to him, all because the rest of the world didn't believe or understand what he did. Get a life people, quit condemning people for something they have the right to choose to do.
