Swingular not so private anymore - Someone has made swingular known on the radio 🤬 - So… A topic on the radio this morning was “my family does not know ____about me.” Someone got on and decided to say that her and her husband are swingers and her family did not know. Wow ....check this out... - - I agree with HUNNY_BUNNY in some respects. Depending on the comments made earlier, it would be hypocritical to allow some comments and not others. BUT This is a swingers site. Political narrow mindedness shouldn't be thrown around here. I am a moderate and although I don't like everything George W says or does, I dislike the way the Democratic party has handled their grievences even more. They keep giving the enemy political and moral victories left and right every time they say some poorly worded crap about the war. This is all just pay back for the witch hunt the Republicans gave Clinton. I think both sides need to grow up and quit acting like children and come to a common ground. Swingers Next Door! - ABC news story on Swinging! - I've heard that the A&E show is just what I thought it'd be, the young & beautiful and tension emanating from the vanilla neighbors. Of the 3 things I expected, so far, apparently, there hasn't been a marriage destroyed by swinging, but I'd be surprised if that doesn't turn out to be part of this "reality" show. But after just 1 episode, it looks like I'm 2 out of 3. I'm sorry, but I really think the show is an attempt, probably successful, to exploit something most people would find edgy and fascinating. I'd love to see a REAL reality show about swingers, but somehow I doubt that will ever happen because it wouldn't fit the "successful TV show" formula well enough. The closest I know of to an honest portrayal of things society thinks are taboo was that "real sex" series. And look how long that lasted. Certainly not long enough to have covered the many things that would have fit into the show's premise. If it was still running now there'd still be lots of things out there for new episodes. My suspicion is that while the title might have been, the actual shows just weren't sensational enough for it to be a long term success. ~ Terry

There are those folks that have a license for their job issued by County or State governments. Obtaining that license is considered a privilege, just like a drivers' license. No, the government can't search you or do medical tests on you against your will -- unless you want to drive. Then you acquiesce to their demands because you want that license. No, the government can't fire someone for perceived violation of a "morality clause" found in a licensing application. They can, however, deny or publicly harass a person about a license. Without that license many folks lose their job. Not good. So for some folks anonymity is not a matter of guilt or shame, but actually becomes a necessity to protect against a threat to their families livelihood. For me, I'm not paranoid or anything but I see absolutely no reason to expose myself unnecessarily. If someone I've met and actually KNOW approaches me away from the swinging scene, I'm totally fine with it, but an anonymous letter from someone I've never even met would bother me.
