Why are single guys being band from all the upcoming parties? - Did some clown out there mess it up for all single males? - Our group, (Tampa Bay Lifestylers), has a handful of single males. They are a select few. These guys are known around the area as decent respectable guys. They know how to work a room without "COCK BLOCKING" or pissing in anyone's corn flakes because they pay attention to the room. Most are smart enough to sort of lay back and watch. They know that all the couples or single women that ARE looking for a SM to join in will ask (if they don't already know), if there are SM's there. Our group does not play on the premise that (I AM GETTING LAID NO MATTER WHAT), and the guys know this. So none of these guys feel the need to push anyone. They also realize there will be more parties and that everyone is comfortable with them at a party they will be invited back again and again..
There are WAY more BI women in the lifestyle and this usually means that married guys are more likely to stand there. This makes for even less room for single men as well. COUPLES, (Which is where SWINGING came from), are more frequently looking for additional WOMEN to join in, thus brings in the single woman. Yes, there are the peeps looking for a single man to join or just take the wife away for play alone, but it is far less frequent. Therefore most groups and clubs are allowing all single women and only a few single men..
I have also heard couples talking about removing SM all together from parties and clubs. My thoughts are simple but controversial. I think SWINGING is a COUPLES thing. Friends with out benefits? - Is it possible to find friends on here who dont want to fuck? - Actually this isn't that uncommon. We've been in the scene for a long time and have seen a lot of couples leave and then try to return and hang around the scene without actively participating because they like the thrill and excitement as well as hanging out with people who don't have a lot of hang ups and they don't have to censor themselves around. Unfortunately, in our experience, it hasn't seemed to work out too well in the long run. Not sure why, exactly. Maybe the real swingers don't want to hang out with people they can't potentially fuck or maybe the former swingers (or at least one of the couple) gets excited again and tempted to want to swing again or maybe it's some different reason altogether. Wish I could tell you how someone has made it work but it just doesn't seem sustainable. It's kind of like a motorcycle group I belong to. There was a guy who would show up at all of our meetings, hang out, talk about bikes, etc., but he didn't actually ride or even own a bike. Finally he stopped showing up because he found it harder and harder to engage the other guys in the group who actually ride. If you figure out a way to do it let me know. We still know a few couples who would love to hang out with swingers without actually swinging.

tired of the B>S> - - The only chance we have of meeting fakes is if the couple at the club or party turns out to be transsexual dwarfs and were fooled by their elevator shoes making them look taller. We have been around this stuff a good while. Actually we have never tried to meet a couple on this website, we gave that approach to meeting long before this website came to be. (I know my ass doesn't look that old but it is trust me)
Fakes have always plagued these boards, it was FAR WORSE when you didn't have the verification systems in place and while these are good they are still not a guantaree you are dealing with the real deal. The now infamous "Christylynn" was certified as a "real couple" and technically they were a "real couple" just not what you had planned on. You can e-mail someone back & forth till your fingers bleed but your will not truly know what's behind door number two until they walk through the door.
The best way to try and eliminate fakes and flakes is obviously to meet them in person. The only way to hope to be successful is NOT to plan an evening out with ONE COUPLE. We are fortunate enough to have a variety of swingers clubs and organized lifestyle parties in our area to use as a place to meet where we can not only see the couple we can SEE the couples interaction. (This is the part that helps you avoid the flakes) This works great for people like the original poster who lives in West Palm Beach Florida and this is what I recommend.
