Swingers Forum - Speed dating swinging style

We think it sounds kind of fun to try a night where we have a bunch of couples get together and have a “speed dating” type night.

We could make it so each meet takes about 5-10 minutes and each couple discusses what they are into, looking for, and any fantasies. Then the other couple would go. It would also be a good way to see couples in person to see if you are attracted to one another! It could be a fun way to meet lots of couples and filter out any couples that may not be compatible.

Thoughts?

There was a thread about this not too long ago, with lots of people interested. There's also some good info in there from Evildoers about how to make it work, and some of the things that could go wrong as well. Might have to copy and paste the link in your browser, or just search for speed in the forum section to find the thread. There was also another single male and single female that hosted one or two of these a few years ago. They probably have some good insight as well, but we don't know who they are and couldn't find that thread.

Did this at Naughty in Nawlins with maybe 50 couples and it's great. Everyone was naked or partially naked and each couple rotated to another couple when the time was up. We have also done it where just the women rotated and the men stayed in one spot, also lots of fun. You probably need 10 couples to make it fun. Good luck and happy swinging.

I hosted a party like this with KOIGIRL. It was a ton of fun. Was able to meet some really cool people.

Would everyone feel more comfortable in a public place like Button up or at a location such as someone’s place?

Ok so everyone that replied, would a public place (but reserved) or private be better?

Also, would a Friday or Saturday work better?

This sounds like a great time we would love to participate.

We are interested in this. We are more inclined for Saturdays.

Define public? We think Fridays are better but either will work.

Public as in not someone’s home. That would definitely take a lot longer planning though.

So the reason we (KOIGIRL) and I hosted it was we were tired of the meet and greets where everyone had their cliques. Also the parties we went to were not swinger parties. Everyone stood around until someone got drunk and then there was drama. Not all parties are like this, but the one's we went to were. So we decided to hold the party.

First, we held it at my place. Second, we screened those who attended. there were young couples and vet swingers. We limited it to 10 couples invited (8 showed). We did have some drinks and refreshments, but once everyone got there people drew a number 1-4. There were two of each number. Based on the number you paired off with the couple with the same number. A timer was set for 20 minutes. Everyone went someplace quiet and just talked. When the timer went off, one group rotated. So those that had 4 went to 1 and so on. After a little over an hour, we went into the family room and had a few drinks and were talking about doing a second round. However, this didn't happen as truth or dare started. Almost everyone was naked. There was a new couple who was shy but even they opened up. If anyone was uncomfortable, there were other rooms. It was made clear that no unwanted advances would be tolerated. There weren't instances of this. People started breaking off and going into separate rooms for fun. But just to give everyone ample time to plan, would Friday, February 22nd or Saturday, February 23rd around 9-10ish work for everyone?

Saturdays do not work for us, but the idea sounds like fun!

We know you can't plan it around everyone but we can't make that weekend (wedding to attend out of town).

Thanks for putting this together. We’d be interested in attending, but were just wondering who will be invited? Is this going to be open for any couple who wants to attend or are you hand picking who’ll attend?

I was wondering the same thing. My cousin and his college buddy started a speed dating, for-profit company in Dallas a number of years ago and he learned the hard way that they needed to make a number of different events and sort the attendees for each event based not only on age but also on relative looks/body type and even socioeconomic status otherwise people got VERY pissed-off and requested refunds. You probably wouldn't need to be QUITE that specific for a 'swinger speed dating' event but if it's an open invite you will likely end up with some pretty upset people...for a number of varying reasons. Some people seem to get fairly upset when they go to an event expecting to get laid or at least connect with someone and end up not getting picked for ANY of the dodgeball teams.

This sounds like something we'd be interested in, and grouping by age range would be a plus for us

We have taken part in a version of this a few years ago, was fun and we wound up play with one of the couple we "Speed dated", would Love to do it again!

It was actually super fun! It ended up being more of a get to know each other house party and we fit enough people in the hot tub to make it overflow, so it was pretty fun!

We wouldn’t be opposed to doing another one if enough people are interested.
