Hi Guys!

We took a bit of a break from the lifestyle and are looking to get back into it! What has been your favorite way to meet like minded couples? Do you like events? Chatting and meeting with individual couples? Give us your best advice!
We are just new ourselves. We met some cool people at Button Up last night. Also there are some cool group meet ups coming up that we are excited to attend as well. :)

Button up has been amazing so far. Would recommend that as starters. We prefer dinner but it’s like a box of chocolate 😀!

Button Up had a really great vibe. Utahldscouple is right... It's downtown SLC bar and they have the event every Sat night. Everyone arrives around 10pm-ish. There is no cover charge if you let them know you are with the LS group and need a wrist band, you will be escorted upstairs to the VIP section where the other LS people are :)
Come to Lava Next weekend!
There is a fun group headed there.
“LOOKINFORFUN369” can get you hooked up.
Buy your tickets soon and come have some fun!
It’s this next weekend Jan 11-13th

Hi, what state are you in?
So what about stuff during the week? Every other weekend we have kids so sometimes during the week it's easier.

There's not usually events or things to go to during the week. We are both self employed so sometimes we just do a quick coffee meet when we want to meet someone new. Trouble with them is sometimes its a great meeting and other times you feel like you've wasted an hour of your life.
As many others have said, Button Up is a great place to meet people. The numbers are growing every week and the owner is trying to make it a comfortable safe space for us LS. Every Saturday there, the upstairs is reserved for LS. It's private and not super loud, so it's a nice space to be able to meet and socialize with people. I am throwing my wife a birthday party there this Saturday in conjunction with the regularly scheduled LS night. You should come. We can introduce you to lot's of fun couples in the LS.

We are in. I think we both really want to go and see what it's like. I don't think we can go this weekend because we have kids. I just sent you a friend request though. Let's chat! We would love an introduction at one of those places LOL

Nice to be back!!! Thanks amigo!
Super helpful information about button up! We are new and wanted to try and meet people at Lava this weekend but if we aren't able to do that then maybe we can check out button up instead. Good to see there are some group meet ups!
Saturdays don't work for both of us together most weeks. Our lady half, is sometimes available, but even though she has my blessing and encouragement to do so, (I love her occasional hall pass stories, and the sex afterwards), she is not comfortable going to clubs by herself, or with someone she does not already know. So we will most probably miss most of the Button Up partying.

Fridays, Friday evenings and Sundays are when we are most likely to be together. We think there needs to be an ongoing Swinger's Sunday brunch somewhere, maybe near a hotel. Hey, the Saturday party hard people, who never got home could stop by too!

This is a great idea!
One of the best way to meet people is to show to to events and meet and greets. You can get a feel for how serious someone is about the lifestyle as well as get a read on the possible sexual chemistry that is there. Chatting is fine but it can be difficult to weed out the liars and the fakes . My advice is to try all of the different style of events until you find “your people “ . Also recommended having some personal “business style” cards made with your contact info such as your swingular handle or your kik handle as well as a face picture. These are great to pass out at meet and greets so you can remember the people you’ve met and they can contact you if there is a mutual interest. And don’t wait for someone else to schedule an event . Anyone can create an event and share it on the site .
The Market Street Grill has a great Sunday brunch and both locations are pretty close to hotels. Families show up there, so if we wanted to be able to talk out loud about risqué topics, then maybe it would be better to hit Piper Down or maybe the Green Pig.
Noticed you were in Ogden, NOfun.

We host events in the Ogden area that are great for whatever level of socializing or play you'd like.

There's one coming up in two weeks, January 19th.

More information here:

NUKE: Ice & Fire

We do have a catered, sponsored guest list, so don't wait if it's something you'd like to check out?

We'll send a PM with more details

Definitely limits your options. Dinners/coffee meets usually work well. Even if you don’t click you can at least have a story to tell 😀!

We are pretty new here.. What are the "different style events?"
Hello everyone , we are new to this but would like to meet couples in NC . Any advice?
Interesting

Damn auto correct! Button Up is on Pierpont Ave, downtown SLC. The old Chris’s steak place. Don’t mistake it for the sister club, Button Down one door to the east. Button UP is way classier, strict dress code enforcers (Thankfully!!). Button DOWN is kinda fun but often full of thugs and we have seen multiple fights there by those stupid thugs. Button UP has SOooo much potential and we will be going a few more times...BUT we hope the crowd will get a little younger and sexier and the DJ will play the EDM stuff he was playing on NYE. The venue is super solid, clean and a GREAT place for the LS to have events...let’s just hope more people come out and support it. We would add that management needs to do a WAY better job of screening out non LS people from getting access to the upstairs. We found one single guy and one couple (who was super attractive) who didn’t know what the LS was and got bands...it was kinda funny but that will scare away lots of LS people. Better screening is needed.
I'm working with the owner about the screening issue. There have been multiple ideas thrown around on how to remedy that. One was having a weekly password to be able to get a wristband. So far, He has been very open to ideas and feedback on how he can improve the space and logistics to help us feel more comfortable and safe.
Also the NUKE events mentioned earlier in this thread, are first rate and well managed. They would be a good experience for new folks and experienced alike.

So far NUKE events have kept the parties at a manageable and good number, with a good mix of people. Younger and “older,” some attractive (We know this is subjective), all seem to be very respectful, varying level of play and experience, and a spectacular venue. We hope they keep it that way, even improve it, but not water the thing down.

I love the idea of a password. The owner seems super nice to let us have these events there, for no cover none the less.. If we can do anything to help, let us know..
We are committed to try something on the 19th! Thank you for all of your advice and support! If you have any other suggestions or just wanna chat hit us up!!
