Im on the shy side myself, kik is fantastic for that, you can get to know people really well before a meetup which makes it more comfortable when you do meet. Most everyone is good about the “move at the pace of the slowest” rule. I think you will find that many couples are not expecting ken and barbie. For us its the people and the friendships that attract us. We’ve had great fun with people of all body types/ages
I'm not a Barbie but confidence helps
