Have there ever been any red flags that you ignored or maybe didn't think were that big of a deal when meeting a couple or single that you realized later WERE a big deal?

Grammer and complete sentences in messages back and worth.

We quickly realized when we started out that we aren't the type that can just be physically attracted to others. We have to have some sort of mental/social connection as well, or it won't work for us.

When we first got involved in the lifestyle we lived back east. When we moved back to Utah a few months later one of the first couples to contact us started out with, "We seen yore add." Sadly, we ignored our instincts and met them. LOL If you ever meet us remind us to tell you the basted Cornish game hens/cats/forklift story!
Yea when the couple cannot communicate well and its obvious.
When the couple looks nothing like their pics...maybe missing a few teeth or much bigger than anticipated.
When they drink too much...big turn off for us. If they have to drink a lot to get naked.

We dont run across these red flags often but when we do we say thanks but no thanks and we are on our way out.

Lets give some breaks to people who use voice typing on their texting apps. I constantly have it changing words/grammar from the correct version to something that is either incorrect, offensive, and sometimes funny. Makes me want to talk dirty to English teachers. Even my friend sentence above has "worth" where "forth" seemed to be what was meant. Over alcohol/drug use, poor eye contact, and flaky/poor communication are my red flags.
That's not what we are worried about. Everyone mistypes, or has a weird auto-corrects happen, or misspells a word here or there. That's perfectly fine. I'm talking about things like what Evildoers mentioned in their post "We seen yore add". That shit makes my head hurt. I am by no means an English major, but I can structure a sentence, use the correct tense of words, and spell decently.

The first people we ever had to block on this website sent us an email that would have been close to a page long in Microsoft Word. It had absolutely no punctuation, no capitalization, and I'd guess almost every other word was spelled incorrectly. I had no idea what they were trying to say. I got through the first few lines and couldn't figure it out. So we sent a "thanks, but no thanks" email. Then came a rebuttal email not quite as long as the first. I tried to read it, but couldn't. I felt bad blocking them since they weren't being rude or disrespectful, but I just don't have the energy for that. I also didn't have my Ovaltine decoder at the time.

Just as an FYI, this was 4 years ago and they are no longer on our blocked list, so I think they've since deleted their account.
TV camera crews following you around after you meet with them. Your health provider threatens to drop you unless you get tested for everything including leprosy. You find out they used you as a co-signatory on a loan. A video of what you did with them ends up on eight or nine porn sites. They have comments in their profile from anyone mentioned in the Mueller investigation. You find out their play partner is actually a ferret.
If they don’t have decent social manners through your initial conversations, it will not be better in person. Spelling and grammar can be forgiven to some point but too frequent will be an issue. Old pictures (with the dates on them, not many face pictures, not many pictures of one of them, we are sure the list can go on and on.
