Does anyone actually comment on another person's/couple's profile? I have few on my profile back from 2009, but... is it even relevant anymore?
I think its a good feature. It shows that the couples are real and lets you see how they interact in the LS. I have tried to use it to give couples compliments, however I don't know if it even works anymore. I posted a couple of comments that were flattering and they never showed up.

That's interesting because I have tried as well and it hasn't shown up either...
Yes, i want other couples to have the chance to meet the couples that are respectful and a down right ball to be with. No pun intended lol

I think it still works, but the couple receiving the comments has to approve of them or allow them to be posted on their profile. They can choose not to have them show if they prefer. Or maybe they just aren't seeing them to approve. Looking around, I've noticed a few recent comments on profiles that are less than a month old, so it seems to still be working.
Thanks! That's good to know. I only ever try to leave comments if it was fantastic, so maybe there's the approval thing you mentioned... or maybe some would rather keep who they've been playing with private. Regardless, good to know that it does work.
Yup, each person that receives a comment has to go in and actually approve the comment for their profile. The unfortunate thing is that there is no notification that you received a comment that needs approval.

To manage comments, go to "mailbox" and then "Manage Comments". You may be surprised to see a bunch of comments waiting for your approval!

The comments should be utilized as it really helps give feedback that allows others to make better decisions on who to contact. It also helps highlight yourself and show what a catch you can be for others. We always look for comments to see what experience others have had.

We definitely have some mixed feelings about the comments. We agree they can be a good thing and it's great that Swingular gives the option of allowing them or not. We also can see a negative side. Sometimes feelings change about someone and you might wish you hadn't left a comment since you no longer feel that way. Also, we aren't huge fans of having a paper trail of people we may or may not have been with since that's really not anyone's business but our own. For those reasons we no longer use the comment function.
We agree with DOUBLED03! We have had a few friends that have left comments for us and have decided to not approve for privacy sake. It is a nice feature to see what others think about potential new friends but we like to make and create our own opinion!
We hardly look/notice them to be honest.
