To keep with our promise to consistently improve Swingular, we are excited to announce our latest features: Following and Activity Feeds.
This feature is currently in beta and available only on the mobile site.
What is it? You can now follow other members and see their activities. Sort of like Facebook and Instagram.
Currently your followers can see the following from your timeline:
- Post a message in the forum
- Upload a photo to your photo album
- Submit an entry to a photo contest
- RSVP to an event
- Set a travel destination
Basically activities that you are already doing that are publicly available can be seen. Absolutely no private data is shown.
You can also post messages and images to your own feed for your followers to view.
Because this is in beta, it is limited in features and things may change in the future. Currently, you cannot delete your own posts but we will soon add this ability. So make sure you only post what you can’t take back.
We will be constantly adding new abilities. Our next update will include activity notifications, post replies and mentions.
Because we are currently redesigning the desktop site, this feature will not appear on the current desktop version.

The information that is shown doesn’t expose anything private. It’s information everyone can already discover for themselves. It’s just a way to keep people engaged and informed.
Where it becomes fun and useful is for people who want to communicate with their followers, like Instagram. You can post updates and photos and your followers will be able to keep up with you.
well this should make stalking easier. You know the definition of stalking? 2 people take a long romantic walk through the woods....and only 1 of them knows about it.
