Is there a reason I always see like the same 10 people as featured member on the main page every time I log in. I mean there are thousands of members here, why do I keep seeing the same few over and over and over again ?

If I remember correctly, you have to ask administration to put you in that featured member space. Give them permission.

I would think it’s a Business decision.. In the ads.. Honda likes to feature Honda Accord and Toyota likes to feature the Toyota Camry. I am yet to see the Admin featured.. and I look at the featured members sometimes and I don’t smell nepotism. There is a probably a “regular face” downside in the featured members. I wouldn’t like to be featured for free.. LOL

We keep trying to qualify. Mrs. Delicious throws down a consistent 55 to 60 in the two hours but I'm always just a few short of making up the difference. The reoccurring featured members all did it fairly. They all tested negative for performance enhancing substances. It's the age old thrill of victory and the agony of defeat scenario.
Seriously, we have no idea. We suspect they use profiles who have given them permission, and who make a good impression, that will encourage people investigating the site to purchase memberships. As if the lively banter in the forums isn't reason enough!

I can not attest to anyone else, but we were added without any coercion or seduction. My guess is it’s just business and marketing. Our profile pic just happened to be how they wanted their product represented at that time. Bottom line, we just got lucky because we had a great pic. Me, I just got lucky because I have a hot wife. Lol!

I think a while ago when I saw your profile and a couple of others I was wowed.. but lately it’s been kinda like “oh ok” lol. I’m thinking our profile has gotten featured once or twice. we’ve gotten a flurry of messages and friend requests at various times. Or maybe people just found out we were sexy

We're kind of bummed that when they featured us they didn't use one of our sexier photos. Instead, they used one of our pre-vacation photos where neither of us had a decent tan yet.
