We finally have a night off together and wanted to do something fun. Anyone heading to cliff or sky? Any other great places to meet fun people and have a good time?
See our other post on this. Depends on what you want. Sky is a younger crowd (good mix of younger and “older.” WAAAAYYY better music at SKY. But that is subjective. SKY is like a small Vegas EDM club. Very loud, hard to talk. Almost no seating unless you’re in a table-booth. Cool lights and effects, lost of people dancing, no food. It’s a very fun EDM dance club. Much hipper vibe.
The Cliff has a terrible DJ, 90’s R&B... (which we like too) but bad song transitions, short 30-60 second songs...very hard to get in a groove and dance. We hate the DJ
Cliff no real lighting or effects. Very small dance floor. There is seating and food. Very good food. Very good views of the city off the back. It can be too loud to talk but there is a restaurant area where talking is easy. The crowd is older but lots of sexy people there. We would like Cliff so much more if they got a good DJ.
Both are good choices but it just depends on what you’re looking for. SKY is thenplace for us tonight because the DJ-artist playing is awesome. We are trying to get a small group together so we can do a table. See our other post for details.

If you like a live soul jazz band, I’m performing tonight with the number ones at the Bayou. Great place for a fantastic food and great drinks, And of course live music. :-)
