I had this thought about creating an event where you speed date other couples in the lifestyle. I think it would be super fun to have a meet and greet that is more focused on everyone meeting and spending 15 minutes together at a table! At the end of the evening you have met many new friends and maybe even some sexual ones! Anyone have interest in this???

While this is an idea that sounds good on paper you have to be really careful. Some people will try to cheat by doing stuff like releasing massive amounts of sex pheromones into the air by their table with a seemingly innocent doTERRA diffuser or using subliminal sex messages embedded in the ringtones on their phones. We even heard of one dude who didn't say a word, just unzipped and flopped his huge salami out onto the table. It almost worked too. Luckily someone realized that it was IN FACT a large salami from Smith's deli disguised to look like a penis. The bologna foreskin was what ultimately gave it away. SWIPE LEFT!
We went to a house party that did speed 'meeting' and it was really fun. You got to meet everyone. it was around 5-7 minutes per 'meeting'

In all seriousness...SERIOUS? Evil?!!? THAT's something I'd like to see!... we actually participated in a speed dating event a number of years ago at a lifestyle convention and it didn't turn out as well as the organizers hoped. First of all, there was a fair amount of alcohol around, which adds the element of potential drama to ANY event. Second, there were several couples there that EVERYONE was interested in and, unfortunately, they seemed only interested in each other (Spoiler alert, they happened to be younger and in far better shape than most of the other attendees.
Sadly, one gentleman (And I'm really stretching the definition of that word here.) took umbrage at the fact they neither of them wanted to fuck him. In his defense, (or not, I guess) he was pounding gin and tonics and probably wasn't thinking very clearly and actually took a swing at one of the aforementioned men from one of those couples.
The moral of this story is that a speed dating event possibly COULD work out okay if everyone involved was more or less in the same age/weight and/or fitness/attractiveness category or there was a large enough group that there was a decent number of couples in the same categories. Otherwise, there is the very real potential for hurt feelings or possibly more. JMO

That would be interesting! We hate how so many parties people are afraid of introducing themselves to each other and people just stand in groups of people they already know. This could be a great way to break the ice!

We are putting this event together! We are finding a place outside so we can have a more open atmosphere as well as after the speed dating we can all just enjoy the outdoors with music and cocktails
