We are cruising on the Harmony of the seas out of Ft. Lauderdale this November and was looking for a hotel to stay at for 2 days pre cruise and have been looking at the Rooftop resort.. Has anyone here ever stayed there? I know that it is a older place and a bit pricey when we are going. But it is the same price as all the other NICER hotels in the area for that time. We are thinking more for the naked swinger atmosphere so.... any thoughts?
We have only read bad reviews pertains to the hotel condition. We are heading to Miami on Tuesday morning and will go by and check it out. We are attending a party at Miami velvet next Friday and possibly Saturday.

Find a hotel near Trapeze in FL. Although it has been a few years, always had a good experience there.
We stayed at the rooftop a few years ago. Basically and old motel that was renovated and nothing special. The "roof" of the rooftop is nice and 1 block from Hollywood beach which is pretty nice. If you don't want to stay there you can buy a day pass which we did once and worked out fine. Very close to Ft Lauderdale. Trapeze is a great club but I wouldn't choose to stay in that area. Very far from beach and kind of sketchy area. I would also recommend Haulover beach, nude beach between Miami and Ft Lauderdale.
Someone posted a thread about this last month and most of the reviews were negative, basically it is overpriced for what you get was what I got from it.
