We are planning a lifestyle vacation, and looking for some advice on where to go, when to go, and a good travel agent?
We’ve been to Hedo in Jamaica three times, Temptations Resort in Cancun once, and Desire Pearl in Cancun twice. Have loved all of them, but for different reasons. It really depends on what you’re looking for. We like to travel south during the winter but I’m sure the resorts are fun no matter when you go. Happy travels!!! Little jealous.
We are heading down to Cancun to the Desire Pearl in August. We have heard nothing but great things about this resort
We've heard good thing about the two Desires, I think pearl is a bit more expensive. Did you guys just book it through Desire or an agent?
Were members at Temptations in Cancun as well as Desire if you would like a referral inbox us and we will get you some details. WE LOVE TEMPTATIONS!! We go 3 times a year and it is a blast!

We'll be at Desire Pearl this Saturday (3rd trip to Pearl) and traveling to Desire RM in January (2nd trip to RM). We've also been on a lifestyle cruise and we've loved them all for different reasons. Once you take a lifestyle vacation you'll wonder why you'd take one that's not a lifestyle vacation.

Pearl is a bit more expensive but they have extremely large and beautiful rooms, the food is great and the resort as a whole is much nicer than RM. Because it's nicer and more expensive it tends to attract a crowd who like the finer things in life. Pearl has less rooms than RM by about half but the pool, hot tub and beach at Pearl are all nicer than RM.

RM is less expensive, has really (extremely) small rooms and the resort and food are okay. Because it's less expensive it attracts a younger crowd who appreciate the free booze (a lot) and party till 4am every night. The pool is small (get there early in the am if you want a chair) the hot tub is shallow and small, and the beach is eroding. But all of them are acceptable by most small resort standards.

A complete takeover cruise is a blast that feels like a mix of Pearl and RM, for 3,000 people. If you've cruised before it's just like that, but once you leave port it's a lifestyle party. Because it's so large with a mix of costs and room variations, plus so many people, you will find something for everyone all day and night. The cruise we went on was a regular cruise ship, with a regular itinerary but was a complete takeover for lifestyle folks.

We've never been to Hedo as you're required to be nude and we're not nudists. We've also not gone to Temptation as we hear there are too many non-lifestyle folks there (Although we hear the newly renovated Temptation is quite nice).

Personally we like to travel in the winter, nothing like leaving a snow storm in Utah and getting off a plane in 80 degree weather. As far as a travel agent, book directly with Desire if staying with them and the cruise takeover booking will be from the company who put it together. Also, the cruise's we went on were both booked almost a year in advance for an exterior room. www.couplescruise.com was one of the cruises we went on but it looks like they only have two right now. Watch swingular and other lifestyle sites for other cruise takeovers.

Have fun, and because you asked you'll have to blog about your experience to report back to everyone.

Sea mountain in Palm Springs was lots of fun. I would like to know if anyone has been to the new one is Las Vegs.
We would recommend Desires!
Awesome! Thanks for the help! Love the idea of getting out of the cold we were thinking March.
We just went on our first lifestyle vacation to hedonism 2 in Jamaica. We went with a group called young swingers week (OP just meets the criteria) and it was amazing. The resort itself is fantastic, the staff is friendly, the entertainers are very good, and there's always plenty to do even if you decide not to interact with others. And, of course, there's always the other guests.

Contrary to the previous post, only half the resort requires nudity; the other half is clothing optional and the dining areas and front desk require some covering. If you're going in March I'd definitely suggest going swingers week if there's still spots available. They buy out the whole resort (minus a couple legacy rooms) and get to add an extra layer of events for the group. The hosts are amazing. Basically, there's a reason they get something like a 70 or 80% return rate year after year.
We have only been on one. We went on the Bliss swingers cruise in March and it will be real hard to take any other type of cruise again unless we are with family. It was clean and classy. Clothing optional on the pool deck and a ton of activities. We had an absolute blast.
What's the average age range at Sea Mountain?
We will be back at Desire Pearl in March for about our 10th time. It is the gold standard as far as we are concerned. We have done LS cruises, fun, but too big for our taste. We have been to RM for day passes, and prefer the more intimate environment at Pearl. We spent a few delightful days at Cap d'Ange in France. Now there is a crazy place...We have not been to Hedo, but are considering it in May.

Desire Pearl takes the cake!
Desire Pearl is our favorite but they’re all fun for their own reasons.

Lots of sexy couples commenting here. We should all coordinate our travel plans together a little better ;)
We recently spent a week, including Halloween at Desire. Our first time at one of these type of lifestyle resorts. We would definitely go back.
We have been looking at Ms no swimsuit in Hedonism anyone ever been?

Swingular needs to work on their travel section. Most Swing sites have a travel section where you can share and coordinate travel plans with folks you're traveling to or locals that may want to go at the same time.
It would be awesome to go with friends! It's a little scary not knowing anyone.

You're better off not knowing anyone, and even better, they don't know anyone. If you go with a group the group tends to stay together and you won't meet new folks (you can stay in SLC and do that). A lifestyle trip is not like any other, everyone is friendly and unlike other resorts they will go out of their way to meet you. We've been on a trip where there was a large group and it was hard to meet any of them, they stayed together and didn't try to meet new folks, being part of a herd is human nature.

Go it alone and go out of your way to meet everyone you come across, even the people you're not interested in hooking up with. Just because you're friendly doesn't mean you want to fuck someone (that lesson took us several trips to learn).
We didn't think of it that way, it would be awesome to meet a bunch of new people and have the freedom to do what we wanted!
Just another alternative state side os Naughty n Nawlins. This is a 5 day event that takes place in the French quarter of New Orleans. We like it because when you walk out of the hotel its vanilla and LS at the hotel. Its a complete hotel takeover with no one but Naughty attendees.
We have also enjoyed cruises that are complete takeovers also. Contacting some attendees prior to leaving can sometime work toward meeting them much smoother. Good luck and good swinging

This was really helpful. Trying to figure the difference between Desire Pearl and RM was a little confusing to us. We've beard that RM is funner, but Pearl is nicer. But what you said puts it more into perspective for us. Thanks!
Can anyone compare Sea Mountain in Palm Springs to these others for me? We have been to sea mountain and would like to try some place new. The nice thing about Sea Mountain is Palm Springs is close and it seems there is nearly always someone enjoying someone else nearly 24x7. I would like to try the one in Vegas too. Maybe when summer rolls around. Vegas seems too cold in the winter.
Anyone been to Sea Mountain and others?
We are booking black Friday deals which are amazing. What resort is best? We love Desire Riviera Maya resort. A lot have mentioned the Pearl. Love your input.
Call Lisa, she is a local lifestyle travel agent and has been to all the resorts mentioned above. you can message us for contact info or go to her website at Sinsationalescapes.com
Just so everybody knows Desire is having a black Friday weekend sale. $160pp for all of 2018.
Temptations was a lot of fun for us...have not yet been to Desire.
We just booked at Hedonism for young swingers week. It looks crazy!
My lady friend and I are planning a trip to Bocas del Toro, Panama. Does anybody have suggestions for LS clubs there?
