I haven't seen anything technology (app) related that does GPS proximity connections. However, that is a great idea. It would be awesome if the swingular messenger app, or something similar used this feature. Essentially, each device (phones work great) communicates location to a central server (swingular) and you can see who is near you. That would be a fun way to. Meet new people in the LS. It wouldn't be difficult to make a reality. However lots of LS members don't like to mix with real life. Parties control the environment to meet new people and keep things dicreet. Some interesting things to consider for sure.
SDC (Swingers Dating Club) app has something like that. Everyone's location shows up on a map as a color coded dot. You can click on the dot and see the profile or event. Is this what you are thinking about?
I've seen a few apps, but the number of people using them is limited, especially in Utah.
For those that have been around the Lifestyle for awhile I remember if a Lady was wearing and anklet on her left ankle, black ring, so many things that few people knew of. Thus, with technology you could meet like minded couples and singles at work (hmmm...maybe not..lol), dancing, running, park, gym, swimming pool, grocery store, college, airport, it's like the Virtual Hook-Up!!
I will check out SDC for sure. With location sharing you can give precise or if it was a lady more of 1/4 mile radius or so. You could yes use it for events with mobile app like Swingulars so you could if you want to play. So it looks like the location technology is there all we need is Swingular's awesome IT Pervs to help us Pervs make it into the real deal!!
