We've never been to one of the annual Campouts, We've tried the last past 2 years. But this year we've made everything possible and intend on going for the weekend. For those of you who have have participated in the previous years what can we expect by attending this years NxN?
Hi Shakura 89... I have been the last two years and I am helping host this year. The last few years have been great. Meet lots of friends, relax, enjoy nature, etc. This year we are trying to build on this. We are going to be offering specific events and workshops throughout the day on Saturday and possibly some on Friday as well. Just to give you a taste of some things to expect this year. A professional cuddler will be teaching about consent and the etiquette of cuddling. A professional tantra healer will be giving lessons about intimacy, massage, and other techniques. A yoga instructor will be available to teach classes. There will also be simultaneous classes about gender identity for men and women. The one for women is called the "Goddess Gathering" and the one for men is called the "Divine Masculine." These are just a few of the things to expect. There will also be music, dancing, face painting, ice breakers, "Un-clique" games to help people step out of their little groups and get to know new people at the camp. So there will be lots to experience. As far as amenities, our new location has toilets, showers, a kitchen, and several other modern conviences, which ought to make everyone feel a bit more at ease as well. So you have picked a great year to attend. We will post the schedule soon so that you can see all the events and activities when we get everything finalized.
