We're probably not the only ones that work on weekends. Are there any group get-togethers during the week that we might attend? It's hard for us to meet people when the only events are on Friday and Saturday nights.

Well, we are kind of split up on availability. Which is inconvenient because we really prefer going out together, rather than separately. Mrs. Delicious works Mondays through Thursdays, in a clinical setting. I work most every Saturday 16 to 18 hours in a fun and sometimes challenging recreational setting, and maybe a day or evening during the week as well. It kind of depends on the week. I also have a semi self employed vocation, where I mostly work from home whenever necessary. One of those jobs, that's 90% digital, where you are never really off the clock, but there is quite a bit of free time between emails and digital documents to review. Back when Mrs. Delicious was still in college, after the kids grew up, and not yet employed, we played more often mid week than we do now. Most weeks, Fridays and Sundays work best for the two of us. We both have hall passes, but we use them sparingly. As for the big events, or the meet and greets, we miss almost all of those sorts of activities.
Weekdays work well for us. We both work from home.
We're retired also. Week nights would work well...usually best...for us, as most of our family events are on the weekends. It really depends on the day, since we do watch our great grandson a couple of days every week, and he sometimes shows up at 5 am, which means no late night the day before.
we have some weekdays available .. and know of a fun place to do karaoke during Sun Wed and Thursday in Tooele .. The Broadway Club .. starts at 9:30 pm its fun bar ..
That is always our problem, 'starts at 9:30', I guess we are just really old because 9:30 seems so late to start something
