I don't think the anklet is enough to assume someone is a hot wife. I would look for heavy flirting and subjects turning to a sexual nature or innuendo.
I've looked up Hotwife. Didn't know this term before getting on this site. Seems that Hotwife is a state of mind and a way of being.
