This lifestyle - What are we really? - Well I think that is crap. We are TRUE swingers by all means. We have sex with other partners. We do NOT make love to anyone else. We do NOT love anyone else but each other. However, we do have very good friends that we can hang out with and have a great time with, with or with out the sex taking place. So by your definition we would be Poly. But we do not love anyone but each other. We have swinger friends that we just hang out with and not have sex. We have B-B-Q's and let the kids play and then the next night we might all play. We exchange B-day gifts and all that jazz. We love them as friends but that is as far as it goes. In fact we have very few vanilla friends left because we get along with the lifestyle friends so much better. It's difficult to advise which club to visit if you only had one night. Not everyone who wants to go to Playhouselv is admitted. They are selective and we have some friends who were denied access. We also have some friends who were approved and absolutely love going there.
We are good friends with the couple that runs Whispers. We actually play them this week in our lifestyle Fantasy Football league. lol. They are a great couple and do a great job there.
The main difference is that Whispers never allows single males, whereas Playhouselv has specific nights when single guys can come.
You can't go wrong with either place.
But, definitely stay away from the tourist trap, Green Door. It's filthy with guys following you around jacking off. No bar, no DJ, no dancing, etc. Red Rooster is iconic for it's dated vintage look. It's busy with a loyal following that caters to an older crowd. It's not for us, but it might be fun to check out because it is iconic. Just keep your expectations low.
We do like going to Risque Estate during the daytime for the nude pool. It's worth paying the extra $20 for a daybed cabana to stay shaded. It's is a relaxing environment hanging out with other nudists. The evenings there are hit and miss.
Whispers has a busier daytime nude pool on the weekends. The atmosphere is more of a party scene compared to the quiet of Risque. Of course, some resorts on the strip have topless pools. But, you have to find the swingers amongst the mostly vanilla crowd.

The show represents the lifestyle in a sexy and accurate way. We've participated in the show two different seasons (on 5 episodes total) and will continue to do so as long as they let us. They do it with integrity and we are both incredibly proud to say that we are a part of such a great show. It's on Playboy TV, it's called SWING! Swinging/Polyamory - I just wanted to hear other people thoughs on this....... - Poly is pretty much a multi-party marriage (more than two) and includes all the commitments that go with a marriage.

The one thing that I disagree with in the thread is that swinging does not or should not involve a relationship. Rather it is the LEVEL of relationship/commitment that is the question. If you have friends, especially close friends (and I hope you all do) that is a relationship. "Normal society" says you must be in a much higher level of relationship/commitment ie married to have sex. Swingers say you can be on a good friends, friends, or even just acquaintences and have sex. All of these are relationships and I would submit for your consideration that there are a lot of swingers that enjoy getting together with the same people multiple times and also enjoy other things together outside of hopping into bed with each other. That all is a relationship but lower level of commitment. So maybe the commitment level is really the demarkation.
We swing and really enjoy it. We have friends that are also swing partners and we enjoy them both as swingers and friends. We have friends that don't swing and we enjoy them. Those are all relationships, but the commitment is to friendship and or swinging. Does this make sence?

We have been noticed. My wife goes to one of those offices where there are 4-5 doctors that work there. One of them noticed my wife's pics on an adult site. (because he had an ad there as well) No issues came of it, but that has been the only time anyone did "Hey I saw your pic".
