If you read another persons profile or listen to what the have to say as to what their desires and interest are, you know what this lifestyle means to them. If we are open minded enough to understand this, and don't try to force our beliefs on others, who have view's that differ from ours, we are genuine swingers. The most basic rule in swinging is NO MEANS NO. I'll start off by saying that if you are doing this much research regarding religions and what they allow or don't allow regarding sexual activity it has to make me wonder if you're seriously considering converting to another religion just to save yourself the guilt of sin brought upon by whatever religion you happen to be at the moment. All religions have been formed and molded over the years by people. People who are not perfect, who have their own agendas. A sense of right and wrong doesn't come solely from religion. Many religions would like you to think that in an attempt to keep you in their camp and they'll be more than happy to tell you what is right and wrong for the rest of your life (in case you can't think for yourself). But if you have to switch religions just so that you can sleep at night after a fun-filled evening of swinging, you have some other things to figure out. Or perhaps you should just start you're own religion, where you can make all the rules. Christain Swingers? - - I believe that a person can be both a good Christian and a swinger. First you have to remember that anyone can use the Bible to prove any point. Many people do this by pointing to a single verse or even part of a verse. This in itself is wrong. You have to take the entire Book into account. Most of what is preached today has no reference in the bible or there are words from God forbidding it. The Bible teaches us not to worship idols but everywhere you look you see crosses and crufixes. The list goes on and on. Today's organized religion is based more on tradition than anything else. The Ten Commandments do teach us to not commit adultry but here is where interpretation is important. The common synonym for adultery is infidelity as well as unfaithfulness or in colloquial speech, cheating. We always know what the other is doing so we are not commiting adultery.
