And the fact is the LDS church has given so many different commandments over the years that it is very hard to follow them all.
1) no pool tables
2) no playing cards
3) no rated r movies
4) may wear only 2 total earrings, but they can be 2 pearl.
5) only get a tattoo if you are polynesian and your cultural heritage commands you to get one
6) to be in a bishopric or higher, the only facial hair permitted is a neatly trimmed mustache above the lips only. May not go below the corners of the mouth.
7) girls have to wear pantyhose to church, naked legs are not allowed (bless that 70 - love pantyose)
You should really look into cult dynamics to understand how the human brain locks you into staying in a cult, especially if you were born & raised, and every family member is in it, and how it can happen to anyone of any intelligence level. Trying to find a fun "lifestyle-nude" resort for a vacation... - any suggestions... which are better.. hedo11, hedo111, desire, etc.. (others) thanks - UTCPL... thank you for the advice of the lifestyle travel site. We went into it, and it looks interesting. So far, it does not look like there are any groups going to HEDO11 during the months of May or June of '08, but I guess we will have to wait and hope.
It what we have been reading, it appears that HEDO11 is more designed for swingers and has a larger area for nude things, sexual things, etc... Hope we are not wrong, but that is how it looks.
We have never been to a place like this, and since this is our first we have decided we want to find a wild and go for it place... might as well jump in head first...

It is a place for couples only! Its a place where one can wear a swim suit to the pool or hot tubs, or take them off and be naked. You can be naked anywhere but in the dinning area. Its all inclusive with all the alcohol you desire. The food is pretty good (far better than most all inclusive places). Its very liberal and that is why Desire Pearl and Desire Rivera Maya is the go to places for those in the lifestyle.
Yes, there is swinging going on in the playrooms and in the cabanas by the hot tubs in the late afternoons and after the disco at nights. The people are from all over the world and it is rare to find the "Utah judgmental attitudes there. Most everyone is there to relax, drink, meet new people and yes, to enjoy their sexual desires.
Temptations Cancun lends to topless only and you will get all sorts of young couples attempting to talk their partners into trying the lifestyle and most fail miserably. So it is loud and most are not lifestyle with the accommodations not as good. Desire RM is our favorite and we have been to all of them including Jamaica and the Cabo resorts. Desire Rm is fun, a party of adults and just more free spirited. people "play" here more than others and is the sister resort to Pearl. Desire Pearl has better rooms but not by much. The food is similar and we tend to find half are nudists, not swingers. So you never know if you are hitting it off with a couple that ends in naked fun, or hitting a couple that mows their lawn naked. Don't get us wrong, we love Desire Pearl (it is fabulous).
This is why we go to the Desire resorts at least once a year just to cut loose for a week of debauchery and laughs.
