Swingers at work... - - Work??? I thought all swingers were independently wealthy ('Cept me ... of course *Sigh*)

Young swingers party - sold out, who still wants to party ? -

wife is 36f, I'm 48m We didn't get tickets Cus I'm over 45 but no biggie. Since most big parties you pay $50.00 to get in, Spend another $50.00 on drinks and snacks, you talk to people and still don't get laid.
You're not paying to get laid. There's laws about that. You're paying to meet people, hang out, eat and drink and have the opportunity for frank sexual discussion and expression which I'll wager you can't do in most other groups you're part of in your daily life. The transactional approach will almost always disappoint you.
"Transactional approach" I love it!

Friends with out benefits? - Is it possible to find friends on here who dont want to fuck? - Btw, we even have a name for couples like that. We call them "swirls" (not entirely vanilla and not entirely swingers...). [em]Emo_12[/em]

Swingers of Color - - We are hispanic.

Swingers at work... - - We ran into one of my co-workers in the hot tub of a local swing club. We never mentioned it outside of the club and didnt mention we did anything at work. We each managed it quite well, no one ever knew. I no longer work in that office and they no longer come to the club, so its not an issue any longer. But we quickly realized that its actually not too bad (depending on the people) because they dont want to have to answer questions from the nonlifestyle people

western slope colorado swingers - trying to find fellow swingers - We moved here to colorado in nov of 2013 and have not met many in the lifestyle there is not many members in this area so we are wondering if anyone knows where they are all hiding it seems Craigslist is a popular place that people post personal's but there seems to be only flakes and would be potential pic collectors so any help here for the western slope would be great

Dear single females and males - Tired of this. -
This is the problem with single anything on a swingers site...you demonstrate your one track selfish motivation...it isn’t a thread about hooking up it’s about informing the community about a problem..and you hijack it...what a fucking idiot...
Why are you being so aggressive towards people who aren't doing anything to you?

taking one for the team - - Very well said... this is a great topic. Anyone interested in adding it to the Swingers Wiki? ThoughtGarden may have some good words. Here is the wiki: http://wiki.swingular.com.

Swingers - a couples only lifestyle? - Are singles considered to be swingers? - I am a single guy, and in my opinioin I am not a swinger. I am just here to find a good time. I agree that swinging is between a couple, so I guess a couple that invites a third is swinging, the third is just getting some extra lovin. And about Hugh Hefner being single, he is not. He is officially still married to the mother of his two boys (I actually read this months articles, I swear).

Hair Removal Risk/Benefit - Hair removal and increased or decreased susceptibility to some STI/STDs -
We have an non-intimate vanilla acquaintance, that caught a strain of HPV and could not clear it, that has had numerous surgeries on her lady parts, and uses chemotherapy cream on a regular basis. It’s unsettling to hear about these sorts of health risk, but to ignore the existence of risk is not at all wise. There are preventative measures and then there is the luck of the genetic raffle. Most of us in the lifestyle, well most anyone, who has ever been sexually active, even just a little, and probably the majority of adults, sexually active or not, have probably been exposed to some strain of HPV, and most of us never had symptoms and just cleared the virus. Me personally, I’m strep resistant. I actually seem to be able to kill streptococcus through my own secondary immune system. When the kids or the wife would catch it and be symptomatic and start their antibiotics to kill it, I would test positive, without being symptomatic. Go back a day later and I would test negative. Rather than taking antibiotics for no reason I just sort of stayed away from people until they had been on antibiotics for a day. I don’t get sick but I could carry strep until I seem to just kill it. I have maybe been sick three days in the last fifteen years. Mrs. Delicious gets sick maybe four times a year. It’s the luck of the draw. Neither of us have ever had a cold sore, and I doubt we that neither of us have ever been exposed to that virus. Swinging carries with it higher risk than monogamy. Living an active life of any kind contains some risk and some reward. People say that a lot of swingers are flakes. Maybe they just hold from hooking up until they feel the potential for reward is worth the risk.
I’m guessing the risk-benefit decision changes before and after enduring an STD/STI. I’m guessing most of us would be more risk averse after being infected, but that might depend on the kind and duration of infection. Bacterial infections are seemingly easier to treat (antibiotics vs antivirals). Molliscum is reported to be self-limiting and can take between 6 months to 4 years to clear! Yikes!
