[/quote] I think a lot of it is paranoia. I've lived in Utah 30+ years and have been on this site for over 6 years and others for longer than that. Never had any issues with the state, church or police. Hell I know police officers that are on here fucking away like the rest of us. AND it's funny how many people are church-goin, law-abiding, Mom and Dad types by day and naughty swingers by night. My point was, you don't have to show your face in your public profile. Hence the name "Private" pics. No one can see those unless you ask to see them. Me, it's a case of been there, done that. Back when "free love" was all the rage, before Herpes, AIDS, or any other really serious STD, when any guy who couldn't go out on just about any Friday night and end up in bed with some girl had to be either the Hunchback of Notre Dame or a complete and total asshole,I was a single male in the lifestyle. I sure as Hell wasn't trying to find an easy way to get laid, in those days it didn't take much of an effort at all. And you'd think swinging was easier then, with sex being such a casual, no big deal, thing. But it was actually even harder and more complicated. As Evil said, it was called wife swapping, and it was a seriously bad thing as far as society was concerned. Swinger functions, like Sinful Saturdays, Risquee Soiree stuff, Meet n Greets? No way, Jose. There were only private, invite only, parties. There wasn't any internet, if someone was silly enough to try to set something like that up and advertise in the papers (the only avenue available then), no paper was going to take the ad. Everything was word of mouth, and that word pretty much only went to couples. It was actually dangerous. There were cases (not a lot, thankfully, but some) of the local police somehow finding out about a wife swapping party, raiding it, and hitting everyone there with morals charges. Which could even cost people their jobs. That was in the '70s, it did start to sort of loosen up in the '80s, which is when I left the country and the scene, but it was still more complicated than it is today, with no internet and everything word of mouth and single men by invitation only. So why did I bother, when sex was so damned easy to find everywhere? I LIKED these people, that's why. They were ignoring what everyone thought they should or shouldn't do, and were doing what they thought was right for them. Which is how I've believed, since I was maybe 15, that everyone should be. Point being, not all single males are JUST trying to get laid. So if someone comes along who takes the time and effort to ask how he can navigate what are some pretty treacherous waters, I think he deserves to be treated as if he's serious, just a little clueless, and not be ridiculed for it. Hell, even Evil, who's quicker than anyone I know to jump on utter stupidity with both feet, and ridicule the Hell out of it, gave the guy a break and some good, if blatant and not sugar coated, advice.

Vegas next month - - we can only speak for what we like: zumanity and absinthe are fun and SEXY. copperfield: was great, chris angel = HORRIBLE carrot top: we've seen 3 times, and he updates his show regularly. you will be pleasantly surprised. gordy browne: we've seen 3 times funny and a great variety show any cirque' show is worth seeing, dress up and have a fun date night together. laugh factory & brad garrett's comedy clubs are fun, but really not any better than the cheaper ones you can find @ the discount ticket booths. free concerts on the weekend @ Fremont experience, + great place to people watch! you could go to any of the topless pools, but you DO have to pay to get in. best value is buying a lounger because it comes with food and drink. couples oasis: a private swingers club, huge variety of people that go artisan hotel is a fun and sexy boutique hotel, not well known, but a lot better than any of the swingers clubs. do NOT stay there if you want peace and quiet. western sahara: sex & stripper shops for fun & sexy clothing we go to vegas monthly because we live nearby, and we stay somewhere different each time. sometimes down town, sometimes on the strip, and sometimes @ a Hilton, or embassy suites. for us, we don't do the topless pools anymore. kinda a "been there, done that" thing for us. also because of the extra cost to get in. it's been over 4 years since we've been to couples oasis. but the rest of our opinions are very current. we discovered we are getting older, ouch!! we went to Omnia, and HATED the synth dance music. we prefer r&b and 80 & 90's rock and roll. to get in was $50.00, drinks were $17-22 each, water $7.00. go to Tao, the food is great, and when you are ready to dance, you bypass the long line outside by just going upstairs. if you don't get to vegas often, go to the strip, TONZ of things to see have extra time, go down town, go to pawn stars, vamped, capo's, etc..
