As a single male also in this lifestyle who has faced a similar situation my advice would be to just openly talk about the lifestyle, involve both him and his wife in the convo casually over drinks one night when your just hanging out. Basically plant a seed and see if it grows, realistically if they are into the lifestyle and are open to the idea they will invite you, but its best to let them think its their idea to include you. For some couples it just might be out of bounds to include friends into their sexploits.

Are we really as judgmental as vanilla people? - - Yes, unfortunately some swingers are as judgemental or even worse than our vanilla counterparts. After taking a break for some time, Jen and I decided to get back in the swing of things. We have recently moved from California to Ohio due to me (Mike) being in the military. Strangely enough, we have found more judgemental people out here than were in CA. At a party that we were at, one of the guests actually came up to Jen and said some mean things about her because of her weight. We ended up leaving early anyway, due to bad weather and a drive home. This discussion came up in another forum of a website that we also belong to as well. Just because we're swingers doesn't mean you have to play with somebody you don't find attractive, but you can at least be nice to that person.

OUCH - Anyone caught swinging bu family or friends? - Ran into Ms. Evil's cousin a few years ago. Were invited to an annual bbq non-swing party by a couple who WERE swingers but they said even though all vanilla sometimes the party could got quite steamy. Of course the host instantly wanted to play kissing cousins with Ms. Evil and her cousin but she had sobered up enough by then to not want to go there. Why are people not answering? - - I agree totally. The most aggravating are those who send an email expressing interest, you reply courteously and never hear from them again. Might as well reply to their email with " Take a long walk on a short pier", or "Kiss my ass" for all the good it does. And those who do it know who they are...even more disgusting are those who do answer emails, schedule a meet and then disappear, never to be seen or heard from again....or they do schedule a meeting and never show up....(how many cups of coffee is a realistic amount of time to wait? ) then you realize you have been "had again". Friends or swinging partner - - That's not really an easy question to answer. We've met a bunch of couples just once. We generally don't hop into bed on the first date, but it does happen. I think there have been couples that we've hopped into bed with that we might not see in other than swinger settings, but we definitely have friends we swing with that we would and do.
