Divorce rates - How do we compare - Accurate stats on this would be tough to get because of who would answer honestly that they were swinging before getting divorced - but you could probably get close and our bet would be that its pretty close to 50/50??
Having said that, I guess we're going to skew the stats negatively towards the swingers since we plan on getting divorced as soon as all the kids are grown. We dont believe that marriage is needed to prove ones love and commitment for each other. We we're successful at this for the first 7 years, and 2 kids; (bastards - lol) of our relationship. But back in the day before GLBT(P) started fighting for equal rights, insurance companies wouldn't cover "straight" partners either, so we got married to get coverage, among some of the other rights that might pertain to our children.
We have no problem with others getting married to extend their love for one another and we celebrate it. However, we absolutely detest governments using marriage as a tool to control the masses and their choice of romantic endeavors with each other - the rights that straight couples also loose from this should have many more people up in arms about it!
This is one of the problems that has aided in the distortion of what love, marriage and true friendship really is which in turn causes more divorce... and people that CANT HANDLE SWINGING.

BUT the reality is that 2 things are going on here:
1.) you get what you pay for. When you got a $20 for life membership, did you expect to get all the bells and whistles? Did you expect encrypted everything? Did you expect that everything you said or did in here was safe? Personally, I did not. but I am one who does not care about somone knowing what I do on the weekends.
2.) Do you think that your friends, family, co-workers do not know what you do on your weekends? Come on...I am sure you display all the characteristics of other swingers. You have friends who come to visit wearing alluring clothing. You go to clubs, yet no one outside of the swinging community sees you in the clubs. PLEASE DO NOT TAKE THIS AS AN ATTACK ON MRS HUNT...but who typically gets breast augmentations, ESPECIALLY when they are the vision of perfection? AGAIN...Do not take that as an attack on Mrs. Hunt...thought she was a goddess without change...but she has her reasons...so I support her decision...

Who in the relationship initiated the idea of joining the lifest - And why? - I lost my virginity to my hubby, and had no other partners Before we married. We were fortunately able to befriend an older (25's) couple in college who were swingers. When I started having all the usual "what am I missing" emotions, he suggested that we pursue the lifestyle. Most public places - - In a museum here in Houston...In a meeting room at the Banff Springs hotel on an antique table. I my girl friends office on the conference room table. In the woods camping out at the Texas Renaissance festival and of course at the voyeurs room at the local swingers club in Houston, TMZ. Good times in all those situations.
